This was certainly more than I expected. The museum houses many items of war including old sets or armor and weapons. There are also many items and antiques that belonged to the nobility, including Napoleon Bonaparte.

It is a fantastic museum, it is not full of people and you can enjoy everything you see calmly, the collection of armor is incredible, I completely recommend it.

Unbelievable collection of medieval armour - my teen boys were so impressed as was I. Worth a visit. Not overrun with people which added to the experience.

This was the most interesting and enjoyable museum that we visited in Florence. Zero crowds, quiet and treated wonderfully by expert, knowledgeable staff.
