An outstanding experience.
Bryan_H, Dec 2023
We were surprised that the tour happened with only 3 participants. The Roman Baths are a not to be missed experience! Driver was delightful. the villages were very beautiful and quaint to say the least.
Fantastic!

Excellent Trip Once You Find the Departure Point
Gregory_C, Oct 2023
We enjoyed the trip. Our tour guides, Russ and Mark, were excellent. They were very personable and shared interesting information throughout the trip. The English countryside was beautiful. We were impressed by the stones at Avebury and were not aware of them prior to the tour. Lacock Village was a trip back in time. Bath was interesting and we had a nice lunch there. The only reason I gave the trip 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the instructions to the meeting point. It was difficult to locate the Greenline Coach Terminal since there wasn't a sign on the building. We did not see a sign for Colonnade Walk. The instructions mentioned a Subway restaurant, but it was no longer there. They need to provide more accurate directions. We searched frantically and were afraid we were going to miss the tour. The trip was excellent and we would highly recommend it, but the directions were terrible.
Great experience

Walking among the Avebury stones and listening to the outstanding and humorous commentary by our Scottish tour guide Graham.
Great day, well worth doing

Bath, Avebury & Lacock: This tour was very enjoyable right from the start. Cristo was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and informative and kept us engaged during the drive from and back to London. There was plenty of time to explore each of the 3 destinations despite an unexpected, long detour due to road work along the route. We definitely would recommend this tour.
Great!

The two guides were wonderful! The smaller group size was really great and easy to get to know others. I would highly recommend to others!
Great
PATRICIA_M, Apr 2023
Christos was awesome and the day was comfortable and informative. It was the perfect amount of time at each stop but I do wish there was a costswolds stop in addition to the 3. There was a lot of traffic coming back no fault of the tour company but maybe another stop would make that worthwhile or would have placed the tour after the traffic. I digress this is a great tour I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to see avebury lacock and bath.
fullfilling fun

hello i don''t want my review and any piece of relevant information to be shown in public. So the trip was very nice, we had an informative, entertaining and considerate scottish guide, named Graham, and there was a good mix and contrast of visiting places. Three days in one.
Lovely trip

Neal was a great guide full of fun facts & humorous stories. The van was comfortable. Directions to the pick up were from the train station, but trains were on strike. We came out on the tube side instead & had trouble finding the pick up location due to construction. Be sure to exit through the train station! There was an hour stop at Avebury (plenty of time) and an hour at Lacock (a bit tight because we chose to eat lunch here) and 2 hours at Bath where we opted to tour the Roman baths, the abbey & window shopped. It was a lovely trip!
Great experience

The Avebury experience was my favorite but all of the sites were interesting and we were well informed about them by our excellent tour guide.

Excellent guide allowed time for our own exploration. We enjoyed the Saxon church in Avebury and Bath Abbey.
So upset!
nathalie_p, Dec 2022
I hate writing bad reviews, but I'm still peeved at what happened to me. I showed up early and the driver still left before the 9:15 am departure. The driver didn't even make any attempt to contact me to see if I was on my way. It was so bizarre! The people at Rabbies were apologetic, but it still was a bummer only because of the extra expenses I had to incur. It's even more annoying when this website says the tour was completed.
Review of Bath and Avebury
keithgmilton, Oct 2022
The drive from London to Bath was 3 hours and made enjoyable by our driver - Graham. Great knowledge of the area, answered all questions and made the trip enjoyable. Bath is simply amazing and to think the Romans had created these buildings for public use close to 2000 years ago (60-70) AD - blows my mind. Then to see the 2000+ year old Stone henge around Avebury - wow- Excellent trip.
Excellent Tour - Highly Recommend!
Joan_P, Oct 2022
Graham was an EXCELLENT driver/tour guide. We've been to London many times so this trip, we travelled outside over our two week stay. This was our favorite outing. Bath is expect to be great... and it is. Avebury I'd never heard of but was one of my favorite stops. If you want to see old England... not the tourist stuff, so this. And again, Graham was funny, knowledgeable, played a fabulous music mix of all English artists. Great, great outing.
Great tour to Bath, Avebury and Lacock Village
James_T, Sep 2022
Bath is definitely the highlight of the three stops. If you want to see the actual baths, pre-buy your tickets! They may not be available when you arrive in Bath. However there is plenty to do and see if you don't get in the baths.
Got Stiffed by Queen
Kevin_O, Sep 2022
I was delayed on the train for 20 minutes because of crowds viewing the Queen and then further delayed when my Uber could not get through traffic in Westminster. No one at the tour agency would give me credit or refund only because I booked through Viator. Necer again. I’ll be posting on social media shortly.
A great tour
Tracey_K, May 2022
Samuel was a wonderful guide. He passed along information that made the stops more enjoyable. Our trip went smoothly and as it was a small group, timely. The Avebury stones were magnificent, Lacock charming, and Bath a place I need to visit for a longer period in the future.
Great tour, great tour operator!
liz_r, Apr 2022
I really liked the small group tour. Will be using Rabbies again! My daughter and I especially liked the trip to Bath.
The last time I travelled with Viator
Tatiana_R, Feb 2020
It was cancelled on the eve of the trip. I took another one, but it was not an adequate compensation for me. I did not enjoy the trip to Oxford, it was too short, same as the Cotswold's. It is Absolutely unreasonable to travel more than four hours to the destination and back to spend an hour in Oxford and half an hour in villages. Pity I went. Sorry for the negative review, but I think that it was my last trip with Viator. Apart from that, it does not seem fair to take an absolutely unknowledgeable trainee and try and explain things to her on a trip with customers. Not a single new fact learnt.
Response from Host, Mar 2020
To be clear, the cancellation was nothing to do with Viator – they are the booking agent but Rabbie’s are the tour Operator. It was due to our own staff illness that we had to cancel your tour unexpectedly and we are sorry for that. We offered all our passengers the opportunity to transfer to another tour, another date or to cancel and receive a full refund. You chose to switch to our popular tour from London and we obviously hoped that you would enjoy this and that it would therefore be fair compensation. As that wasn’t the case, please contact me at feedback@rabbies.com and I will gladly arrange for a refund for you. Kind Regards, Aimee
