Angie provided such a fun but SCARY tour! Very entertaining. Extremely gruesome. We were practically biting our nails from the suspense of her expert storytelling! We have done ghost tours all of the world - this one is now my favorite. We really appreciate how loud she projected even with such a large group of people. I highly recommend you take a journey back to 1888 London. You won’t regret it! Thank you Angie!

Best exploratory walk in London !

I am greatful to have Angie as our tour guide. Her story telling kept us all at the edge throughout. 2 hrs went flying by discovering the 1888 London and the intriguing murders. Highly recommended and best evening spend exploring with an amazing story teller who knows the real history !

It is some interesting historical information. Angie our tour guide was wonderful. She is very excited about the history and her passion for doing this work is easy to see. Sometimes it is hard to hear with the traffic in the city and other people around.

Very interesting and informative tour, Philip was excellent at engaging us!!!! He made us laugh a lot. I would have loved to have stopped and had a drink in The Ten Bells pub as part of the tour. Would recommend to my friends.

Angie gave us an amazing tour through Whitechapel today! It wad really interesting to see photos of how the places and scenes of the crimes looked back in the day compared with the modern appearance in front of our own eyes. And it was really cool to get to see some of the old fashioned streets as well to take in more of the color of how it would have been back in 1888. Angie was incredibly knowledgeable and obviously very passionate about the subject so it was great to pick her brain afterwards to go a little deeper on suspects. Would definitely recommend!

Large group herded through the East End.

Due to the popularity of this tour, we had a very large group, ~38 people herded through the streets of WhiteChapel. This made things not only difficult to hear at times, impersonal, impractical and I felt rather ridiculous and many passersby turned their heads wondering what this large crowd was doing.

As you say the tour is very popular with our clients and many express how much they enjoy the tour and this can be seen by the many positive reviews we receive. We do limit the groups to a size we feel is comfortable both for the group and guide. We ask our guides to ensure that they face away from the traffic when speaking and that they check everyone can hear at regular intervals throughout the tour - if this was not done I can only apologise. You do not mention when you took the tour or who the guide was. London is very used to walking tours so I'm sure the group did not cause much curiosity for the locals. Angie was our guide and storyteller. I felt like I was in a courtroom while Angie spoke-she was the prosecutor presenting the case of these individual lives murdered and butchered by a man, jack the ripper. Our tour group huddled against strong night winds on the night of our tour but we knew through our guide, the environment and circumstances were much more dire in 1888. This piece of London history that grabbed the attention of people globally remains alive today through these evening walking tours through the same locations where horrendous events occurred. Equally fascinating was our guide, Angie!

A creepy and interesting experience

Angie was a super guide. It was a rainy cold night which enhanced the creepiness of the experience. We started promptly and Angie had so much information and shared excellent stories. She was funny and gave warnings when she was going to gruesome pictures. It was a great walk through history!
