Excellent day trip with amazing guides

We had a great time with our tour guide Veronica and driver Louis. Worth while trip super informative showing us around the sights and made it a worthwhile memorable day trip. The perfect amount of time to explore both Cholula and Pueblo.

The tour guide Veronica was very knowledgeable & the driver Carlos was a very nice & careful driver. The views of the volcanoes were awesome. Puebla was a very charming colonial town with majestic cathedral at the center of town.In Cholula the base of the pyramid was ver impressive in its depth but I was a little bit disappointed that it was just a small part of the pyramid that was visible. However it is still an amazing archeological site. You get a view of Cholula and Puebla on top of the pyramid which also has a Catholic Church on it.

The guide and driver were very nice and easy to speak with. The guide was very knowledgeable on the area and all the places we visited. We tried to go to the tunnels but they were closed. The only reason I did not rate this trip 5 stars was because the guide spent quite a while telling us about all the things you are supposed to eat in Puebla and then none of them were an option. We were taken to a buffet where other guides were also dropping their groups. The food was mediocre at best. I would suggest having a place you want to eat in mind and let them know so you don’t end up there. I also wish we had spent more time just walking around the Centro. Maybe see some of the Puebla pottery. I could have asked and didn’t think of it at the time so that’s on me. Trip lasted 8a-4p, (CDMX and back.)

A NOT-TO-MISS tour

This tour was hands down our favorite day on our Mexico City trip. It's a long day (about 11 hours) but ABSOLUTELY worth it. Carlos (our guide) and Carlos (our driver) were awesome. Carlos was incredibly knowledgable and spoke terrific English. Since we had the whole day with him, it gave us time to ask all our burning questions about Mexico -- history, archeology, current events, Catholicism. Each stop was worthwhile. Cholula was very cool, but the next two churches were the surprise gems. In Puebla, Carlos worked to maximize the time we had there (~4 hours) and make sure we saw the highlights, including the cathedral, first public library in Latin America, and even an awesome rooftop viewpoint. We got lucky with incredible weather and visibility that day and could even see the tallest volcano in Mexico that's over 200km away.

A great day out in Cholula and Puebla!

We wish that we had had more communication (or any communication that we didn't initiate) from the local tour company before our pickup, but from the moment we were picked up, we had a wonderful time. Ramon, our guide, and Juan, our driver, were experienced professionals, and we were absolutely delighted by Ramon's breadth of knowledge*, friendliness, and enthusiasm for the places we traveled to. Because it was a private tour, we could also adapt it for our pace and interests, and we were delighted to visit some off-the-beaten-path sights as well. We would eagerly take a tour by Ramon again! *Like, we would go into the weeds on linguistics, art, and architecture, and he provided authoritative knowledge, as a trained and licensed guide.

Our tour with Carlos and driver Arturo was amazing! We loved exploring smaller towns of Puebla and Cholula outside of the hustle of Mexico City. Carlos was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture and answered all of our questions. They were both accommodating if we needed any rest breaks. What a great day!

Trip to Cholula and Puebla Our guide Ernie is a local of Puebla and showed us all the interesting places. It took 3 hrs to drive from Mexico city and we began the tour at 11 am. The views of the Popo volcano on the way were stunning! The main church of cholula was rich in architecture as well. We walked around the Zocalo and visited few more churches. We then drove for 30 mins and had lunch in downtown Puebla. We explored a colorful Local market where we shopped for Mexican candy, bags, T shirts and Telavera (Mexican clay made pottery) The day ended around 4 pm and we drove back to Mexico City by 7 pm. Ernie did a good job and made our trip enjoyable!

Fun day trip from CDMX. Gio and Robert were excellent (guide and driver). It was easy to schedule online and I was able to adjust the number of people quickly without any hassle about a week before. Viator confirmed the booking a couple of days in advance. Gio and Robert were at our door promptly on time - waiting for us as we walked outside. We learned interesting history and saw beautiful sights. Definitely recommend if you want to mix things up on your trip to CDMX.

We were exceptionally lucky to have Veronica for our guide. Veronica is very knowledgeable and quite charming. Temple Mayor, Ntl Mus Anthropology & Teotihuacan are better for limited days.

We decided to use one of our days in CDMX to go to a different city. We booked this as a private tour since we feel it is worth it, we were so lucky to share this time with Christian (our driver) and Arturo (our guide). We left right on time and spent the whole day visiting different and interesting places in Cholula-Puebla while at the same time learnt a lot of Mexico’s history. Fully recommended.

Me and my boyfriend decided to do this tour because we've heard wonderful things about Puebla and Cholula. However, it was much better than expected! Our guide, Luiz, was very polite and called our hotel reception to tell he'd be a few minutes late, and met us at the lobby. His car was comfortable and clean, with air conditioning. The trip to Puebla and Cholula is amazing, with beautiful landscapes and views to the MX volcanoes. Cholula was our first top and we were lucky enough to go there when they were having a religious festivity. The guide took us to the ruins, then the church and to really see the city. He spoke partly in Spanish, partly in English (we spoke Spanish, so it was just fine). Puebla was also an amazing place, we got to really see the oldest library in the country and the churches, all spectacular! I really recommend it, and would like to thank Luiz for being so kind, informative, full of knowledge and a great driver!

Great tour. We had an excellent driver Luis and guide Brenda. Brenda's knowledge of the history of Mexico was excellent and she was able to describe the architecture and age of the churches etc very well. As it was a private tour we also had the flexibility of the timing at each historical site and the choice of sites. In summary a really good tour formed by two very nice people.
