What To Expect

Your tour begins on Piazza del Duomo, beneath the arches of the Benneton store. Here, you’ll greet your guide and immediately launch into a historical overview of the Duomo, the third largest Catholic church in the world.

Begin by admiring the Duomo’s grandiose Gothic façade, replete with gargoyles, elaborate carvings, and statues and then, with your skip-the-line ticket in hand, you’ll bypass lines and head straight inside the magnificent Duomo: ethereal light pours through stained-glass windows, countless statues and shrines decorate the naves, and the main altar provides a spectacular showpiece.

Descend to the crypt to view the tomb of St. Charles Borromeo, one of the Milan Holy Patrons, and then, after bidding your guide farewell at the Duomo’s entrance, take advantage of free entry to the Museo del Duomo, whose exhibits detail the construction of the cathedral.
