Gary needs a promotion!

The New Orleans City Tour was excellent with Gary K! The trip to the plantation was not a very good experience. The driver did not explain ANYTHING and barely spoke! Drove way too fast and did not even announce drop off location when returning us to our hotels. We barely got off the bus and the doors were closing and he was driving off. No idea what his name was since he said NOTHING! This was the Tuesday trip with pickup for the plantation 8-8:30am.

We enjoyed the New Orleans City tour the most. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We visited all of the major areas of the city. Would highly recommend this tour.

Southern tours told me you had the wrong time and also overbooked the plantation trip. I am expecting a refund for that part of the trip The afternoon tour bus was filthy and barely air conditioned.

Oak Alley was great- was scared about having enough time to see everything and make it back for the city tour. Definitely no time to eat between yours. City tour was awesome! Learned so much about the history of New Orleans and had a great time seeing the whole city. Gary was informative, fun, and a great driver. He sent texts to the group with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. Highly recommend!

The tour was fine, unfortunately there was a major traffic jam (not the drivers fault), and we were delayed in both directions. During the rush to get around traffic, the ride was very rough and uncomfortable.

The drive to the Plantation was rough, I guess roads are not in a very good condition. Plantation setting was beautiful and house tour was interesting. Really enjoyed city tour with Gary, he was knowledgeable and entertaining.

The Plantation Tour and City Tour were both fantastic experiences and well worth the money... The drop off and pick up times between tours had a very small window as we were dropped back off at our hotel and then needed to be picked up in a little under an hour which caused a very rushed lunch... I would highly recommend if there is a second option to have customers dropped at a central place for lunch and then picked up to continue on to a similar tour - may allow for less pick ups and more time for lunch between tours..

This was a great tour! I didn’t realize it was actually 2 separate tours. We had KP for the plantation Tour (Oak Alley). He was at our hotel on time and got us out to the plantation in a timely manner, giving us commentary along the way. The plantation tour was great, but I would have loved a little more time in the “Big House” to look around. The property was beautiful, despite its origins. We were picked up at our hotel in the afternoon by Gary who did our City tour. What a great tour guide! He was a fount of information and took us to multiple areas of the city, including French Quarter, Garden District, a stop for Beignets, the areas damaged by Katrina, one of the many cemeteries, and lots more, all the while with great info and commentary. He answered every question and gave us great recommendations for dining and things to do. Super happy with the tours.

I didn’t realize it was two separate tours. I give the City Tour a 5 star rating. Gary was a fabulous tour guide and took us to a lot of great areas and was extremely knowledgeable. The plantation tour was too rushed. KP had a great personality and was very entertaining. My hotel pick up was very late, the plantation stop was rushed.

Oak Alley Plantation is a MUST!!! Gary for the City Tour...A+!!

The Oak Alley Plantation was beautiful! Our tour guide, as well as the hosts at the plantation, were informative and gracious. Wonderful layout and the ride to the plantation was enjoyable as well. The city tour started out with a "bang"....our tour guide, Gary, stopped at a distillery so that we could enjoy some great drinks before our tour! We hit all of the areas of the city and were provided so much interesting history and information we found very interesting and important. Gary knows the answer to every question and we appreciated his generous offer to be dropped at wherever was preferred at the end of the tour....wonderful!
