Christ the Redeemer and views are spectacular and beautiful. Selarón Steps are very interesting. Unfortunately our guide spoke way too fast and walked way too fast. We almost had to trot to keep up.

Booked this specifically to see Christ The Redeemer and the Selarón Steps. The itinerary suited me because it specified 4 hours - so half day which was perfect: giving me 1.30 hours at The Redeemer and 30 mins at the Selaron Steps!! That’s exactly what the trip detailed. Picked up at 7.58 and transported in Van to first stop the statue of Christ The Redeemer… 30 minutes later and very rushed back on the bus. Next stop was the football stadium and the cathedral then we were heading for lunch the Selaron steps and sugar loaf!!! - not the tour I booked. I spoke to the tour guide who advised this was a full day trip!!! Asked why I was on a full day trip when I only wanted and paid for a half day with a lot longer at my chosen points, she advised that they always do it that way!!! Needless to say I got off at the Selaron steps did my own thing and made my own way back. Spoke to the company I booked with and their attitude was shocking! Never answered emails and said “well you seen the Christ statue what’s the problem” Don’t book - Avoid this tour and company

This was a great tour up to the Christ and Selaron Steps guided by Carlos Adriano. The option available to join for lunch on the day with the full day tour group allowed me to experience the Brazilian Rodizio. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I enjoyed my day tour! We accessed Christ the Redeemer at a great time. It wasn’t crowded, nor were there long wait times. Same for Sugarloaf Mountain! I loved being able to see the sunset. The tour guide, Publico, was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He ensure everyone has a great experience, and even offered to take photos. My only feedback is to offer water when picking up passengers. Lunch should be an option for such a long tour. I added on the sugarloaf mountain excursion, and the tour lasted about 6.5 hours.

A very good way to see some of the most iconic places in Rio. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, spoke in English and Spanish so everyone in our group could understand. The only minor thing that I'd like to point out is that although the van is very comfortable, unless you are seated right in a window seat, it is somewhat hard to see the buildings that the guide is describing, because visibility is not great (the back seats have no windows and also there are some notices pasted to the front seat windows that make it impossible to look outside). So for many landmarks I could only hear the description but was not able to see them. Other than that, we enjoyed every stop and felt very safe.

A fun half-day tour (just be prepared for the crowds)

Pedro was a lovely tour guide. He spoke perfect English and was very friendly. We had 4 people in the English group and 8 in the Spanish group in the same van with us. The English version would always be explained afterwards, which took out a few minutes from our tour as we arrived at the various places, but we weee fast at taking photos so it didn’t matter so much. The Christ the Redeemer was super crazy busy, but that’s not the tours fault. Not much you can do! They make you take photos as you enter the Christ area to purchase at the end of the session. This is optional 80,000 Brazilian dollars for 3 photos. The steps at Selaron is also very busy! But Pedro was lovely in giving us tips to not go too deep to the top of the stairs as it’s sometimes dangerous and filled with pick pocketer’s. We’re lucky he warned us prior. The car was air conditioned and everyone on the tour was friendly. We enjoyed the half day as anything more would have been too much and too long of a day in 30+ heat.
