Sergio, the coolest guide
Mat_T, Apr 2024
It was a great and chilly tour with a lot of local information and positive energy from Sergio. Luckily we had a chance to see a monkey, tucan, coati (brazilian raccoon) and that they was not overcrowded!
Great time in the rainforest!
London_L, Apr 2024
Very fun. We got to see basically the whole forest within a few hours, as well as being accompanied with a fun and knowledgeable guide. This tour is also perfect for those who speak English because our guide spoke very well. Overall I thought the tour was great, would recommend.
Awesome nature tour
Andr_C, Mar 2024
Our tour guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable about the rain forest. He identified plants, animals, and other sights that I did not expect. The Chinese View (where you see the entire city and Christ the Redeemer from a distance) is closed on the weekends, so be sure to do this tour on a weekday.
Nice but the SKY must be open

Great tour! We went with the private Jeep tour and we’re not disappointed. The scenery was beautiful. We covered a lot of ground and saw a variety of areas. Would highly recommend!
Hike not Jeep ride
Gail_K, Feb 2024
Jeep arrived hour late, driver and John very nice and informative, but we walked further than we drove. We are an elderly couple and weren't expecting a five mile hike on difficult terrain. Enjoyable and learnt a lot,but very tiring.
Hi Viator,...
Lorna_M, Feb 2024
Hi Viator, It was my first time booking through your company and I was not impressed. 1 -Too many people were booked so everyone expressed they had an uncomfortable ride in the jeep. 2 - The section where we were to see sloths, Monkeys & birds was closed. 3 - Also the panoramic Vista from Chinesa was also closed. 4- Our guide wasn’t even looking up in the trees to help show us monkeys, I sited them. 5 - A professional guide would of had binoculars or a scope to try and find some birds, we could hear some but I’ve been on plenty of guided nature tours and you need the equipment for people to see them. I felt I wasted one of the 2 mornings/afternoons I stayed in Rio, I regret not having booked a different tour. 😔 We should have been informed prior to our booking payment that half of the tour sites were closed. Your company knew ahead of time but did nothing to reach out to us. I would like a full refund since I did not experience the sites that I paid for. Regards Lorna McBain
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Lorna. good afternoon, You are correct to complaint but we did not know those sites would be closed. We unfortunately suffered this without antecipation neither information . We will refund you 75% for your booking and we are sorry about your experience but as i mentioned, we provided the best service possible in that conditions. I will also send guide to training again, as standart procedures were not followed as it should. Thank you KInd regards
Dull and a waste of money!
Gail_C, Feb 2024
Time was changed from 08.30 to 08.05. They turned up at 08.40. The waterfall stop very disappointing, only allowed 20 mins for photos. Not enough time to change and swim under it, meaning the best feature of the trip has the least time at it. Jeep very noisey and guide very quiet so unless you are sat next to him you cannot hear any information being told to you. Wasted time at visitor centre and queuing to “ hug a tree” - visited a beach on way back to see hand gliders land??!! Not what you expect from a “rain forest “ tour…. It’s not a proper rain forest tour but just a ride through a local forest/park. Too noisey and busy to see any natural inhabitants.... seats in jeep face sidewards so difficult to see anything.. lots of time wasting - would be better just driving to waterfall and allowing a lot more time there! Tour is very dull and definitely not worth the money!! I would not recommend this tour.
Fun experience
Joel_L, Feb 2024
Fun experience riding in the jeep. Informative guide and great scenery. Different panoramic views of Rio than at top of Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer.
Great tour! Only thing would be to hike more
Joaquin_M, Feb 2024
It was a very good tour. The guide was friendly and insightful. We saw many sights of Tijuca Forest - however we would have liked to hike a bit more.
Neat hike in the rainforest and fun transportation
Dean_R, Feb 2024
I expected a tour through the rainforest in the jeep We actually drove to the rainforest, then hiked for an hour and a half Some folks were wearing sandals If you do this tour make sure you wear shoes that can deal with some wet and mud The rainforest was interesting and the guide did a good job of describing what was unusual with the vegetation Our guide made too many disparaging jokes about folks from other SA countries and also a few rude jokes about women So overall, enjoyed the botanical discussions and the rain forest. Not the extra narrative. . . . the jeep ride to the forest was neat.
Riding Jeep was so fun!...
Hyun_K, Feb 2024
Riding Jeep was so fun! The wind was cool and the sight was amazing. We could enjoy the Tijuca deep inside. The waterfalls were amazing too. We were lucky to see animals too! Amazing.
Highly recommend this tour & hopefully you will get Bruno

very much enjoyed.
Jeff_R, Jan 2024
we had a great time. My only criticism was that the Jeep was too crowded, each seat was taken and a few people took up a lot of space, it was very cramped in there. I think with 2 fewer people it would have been better.
Tijuca Rainforest
Laurie_B, Jan 2024
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history, the native plants and flora and made it such an interesting and enlightening tour, even in the rain.
Real Forest!!
Derek_S, Jan 2024
Good tour in a very spectacular area of forest and mountains. Saw some Capuchin Monkeys and smaller animals. Also drove back to the hotel passing the main beaches including Copacabana. The cliffside coastal road and the forest roads are well worth travelling on, with excellent views over the city and the coast.

Mostly great
Marj, Jan 2024
It was fine and we learned a lot about the history of Brazil and the forest. The hike were very short walks, probably 1/2 mile total. The jeep ride was fun and the boys were great. Sorry we didn't see and animals.
Beautiful ride
Kendra_K, Jan 2024
The ride was beautiful but our tour guide needed to be a little more knowledgeable about the activities!
