Very interesting and comprehensive tour of the Favella. Caio has a very good knowledge of the community having lived there and also established local relationships off the main streets. He has very good English and works hard to make the experience the best possible.

I had a great experience with Caio. He has lots of first person experience living in a favela and he knows the history and living style there. He’s a good communicator, and did a great job building the bridge between local people and me, a tourist. If you have enough time I would highly recommend to go to the central city to see the first favela in Rio. Plus, Caio is a great photographer!

This tour with Caio was a great experience. Everything was perfectly organized and safe. Caio knows the favela intimately, from personal experience, and made us understand and feel it from the inside. We went to places where nobody goes. The favela is usually seen as a place of fear, which it is, but it is also a place a life. Caio took great care of our safety and made sure we had answers to all our questions. What we saw yesterday... we'll never forget. We now have a lot to think about. Thanks Caio

Great tour of Rocinha. We had no idea what to expect when visiting a favela, but our guide João did a great job walking us through the area. He explained the history of the favela and how it’s actually very safe given how controlled it is, and how many people are living well. Highly recommend to see a different side of Rio!

This was the highlight of our trip, Caio was super responsive before and after the tour. He took us places that I would not be risking going. Great guide and experience. We enjoyed the trip a lot. The tour took about 2 hours and 30 minutes since we wanted to stay at the football pitch to play with the locals for a while.

Die Tour verlief reibungslos. Unser Guide Ciao kannte sich in der Favela bestens aus und zeigte uns sehr interessante Orte, Menschen und die bestens brasilianischen Köstlichkeiten, sodass wir uns nicht mehr wie Touristen, sondern fast schon als ein Teil dieser "eigenen kleinen Welt" fühlten. Die Tour ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert, da man sehr viel Kultur in sehr kurzer Zeit erlebt. In keinem Moment fühlten wir uns unsicher. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen.
