Comfy canal cruising.

Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly, and charming. Captain was also very nice and shared helpful info with us. Having pillows and blankets were much appreciated as well.

The staff, the fun facts and the relaxed atmosphere. We did not book the cheese and wine part, and that was fine. Next time I'd book the cheese and wine.

The weather was great! Skipper Henry & Host Philippa provided an enjoyable experience while cruising the canals. They were very knowledgeable; answering any/all questions we had about Amsterdam and provided important facts and funny stories along the way. Would definitely recommend this cruise.

Kati and Ryan were a good team and taking this cruise in the early evening hours was really an event. My colleagues from US and Canada enjoyed it very much as well, and would definitely do it again. Relaxed atmosphere, some information, simply having a good time.

We signed up with Captain Jack’s open boat canal cruise. First of all, none of the operators even knew about this company. We were brought a couple of streets over by another staff member from a different company. Needless to say, because of the weather, we were told that an open boat would not be coming until 2 pm so we had the option of just getting on a closed boat tour. On the advice of the staff (once again, not from the Captain Jack Company) we went. They said they would compensate us but there was no follow through. We were on a boat where guests had pre purchased wine and cheese. We were offered this only at an additional price of 20 euros! We refused to pay the extra. We proceeded to go on the canal cruise. The crew were young and funny, primarily cracking jokes the whole time. I really did not learn anything important or special about Amsterdam. It was extremely disappointing and my husband and I left very confused. Do your research and book with another company.

Comprehensive tour in only an hour

Abel and Ava on the Flagship Viper gave a very interesting and comprehensive tour of the city. Considering that it was only an hour long, they managed to cover a surprisingly large amount of history. They were both considerate and willing to take photos of the guests. I would highly recommend this tour.
