Situated in a former Borghese family villa, Rome’s Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese) houses much of the eponymous family’s vast collection of antiquities, paintings, and sculptures across 22 rooms and two floors. Highlights include paintings by Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, and Rubens, as well as several Bernini sculptures.
This tour was great! Our tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us a lot of fun facts about Rome and Villa Borghese. His priority was our safety during the whole activity. The tour was very safe. It was our first time riding a Segway and we got the hang of it pretty quickly. The scenery/views during the tour were great. Thank you again for the great experience!
We had an incredible tour! Our guide really took his time with us, pointed out the smallest details and answered all of our questions. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend!
We are really happy we visited the Gallery and the gardens. There is so much to take in at the gallery, that you almost need the air and the space of the garden to let it all settle. We walked around and rented a two-seater bile a just peddled around for an hour smiling the whole time. We saw green parrots! The whole experience was wonderful.
This was a very lovely visit / tour and enjoyed every moment! Our guide was very knowledgeable, shared a lot of interesting historical information and was really nice! Having a guide made our experience much more interesting learning about the different paintings and sculptures during that time period. Highly recommended!
This may have been one of our highlight tours due to the guide whose art history studies and personal experience and knowledge as a native of Rome brought a wonderful and unexpected engagement to the tour. We received a thoughtful and candid background story of the history of the gallery and the collection as well as were brought to the "best" pieces of art available for us to view and received a wonderful background story into the artist as well as how the piece was obtained. Loved it.
Our admission was at 10 am, and we were supposed to get our tickets from Doooing rep waiting for us outside the gallery with a blue flag. He showed up late when all were panicking about having no tickets. Rep was not friendly either when he showed up. I am not using Doooing or viator easily for future bookings. The museum itself was excellent.
The experience was tremendous. Our guide, Bianca, was fantastic. The rooms were spectacular. I really liked that they limited the number of people and the time allowed, so you never felt rushed. Cannot recommend it enough

Q:Is the Borghese Gallery worth it?

Q:How long does it take to go through the Borghese Gallery?

A:Yes, photography without flash is permitted inside the gallery, though selfie sticks must be left in the cloakroom. Be respectful of other visitors admiring the works, and do not approach the sculptures or paintings while photographing or taking videos to avoid damaging them.
