Fantastic trip! I would highly recommend this! Jack knew everything about the canals and the city and its history. Hilarious commentary too! The boat was extremely comfortable. This is a must on any Amsterdam holiday.

Jack is a young business entrepreneur in the canal tour business. He’s an Amsterdam native and resident. He’s a witty guy and keeps you quite entertained while you sip your wine or beer as you glide through the canals. Small group as promised. One of our favorite tours in Amsterdam.

This was a terrific 90 minute cruise around the canals of Amsterdam. Captain Jack is extremely entertaining and also tremendously educated in both the history and current environment of the Netherlands.

Fantastic experience! The only canal boat tour to take. We had no interest in the large commercial boat tours, so this was perfect. Capped at 8 people, quality drinks and snacks, and nice history and stories about Amsterdam. Can sit outside with blankets or inside with heat. Run by a true Amsterdam native.

Lovely scenic canal tour

Captain Jack is a knowledgeable and entertaining host piloting his own very comfortable electric boat and leading us through lovely scenic and interesting canals of Amsterdam. Drinks were generous and varied, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. My only disappointment was with the snacks which were limited to the rather uninteresting highly processed salty variety.

The BEST way to tour Amsterdam!! Captain Jack is knowledgeable, entertaining & a super host! The small (it ended up with just the 2of us as the others cancelled) group is the way to go...comfortable boat, great drinks & snacks & of course Captain Jack himself!! DON'T MISS IT!!!

Captain Jack was awesome, extremely knowledgeable of all things Amsterdam and was not shy about answering all of my ridiculous questions nor bringing up random advice and information about the architecture and surroundings to help break any silence. He was very knowledgeable and funny; we enjoyed it tremendously. There was a family of three from Germany and two guests from the U.S. who shared the small group experience. There was plenty of room for 6-8 on the stern and room for at least 10 inside. The Captain provides ample coke and water and multiple bottles of wine, champagne, and spirits. The tour was roughly 1.5 hours, and we saw areas that would require multiple canal tours or might not even have been accessible to larger tours.

We were a family of 4 that went on a vacation to Amsterdam. We enjoyed the drinks selection and snacks (Nuts, Stroopwaffle & Cheese Breadstick.) There were Tequila shots, Whisky, Gin, Wine, Soda, Coffee & Teas! You name it. There was even lemon garnish on my drink. Sobrang Sulit!👌🏼 (Worth It) The boat was spacious and cozy and Captain Jack was accommodating and chill. If I would do it again, it would be in this boat. ☺️💯

This guy is legit! We went to the wrong meeting spot (my fault) and Captain Jack pinged me and met me just a short walk away. Great boat, nice bubbly and cap Jack is beyond great! This is the right tour for something unique and fun!!

It is the best. Heard from friends that THE Captain Jack cruise was the best. Small and intimate…8 people max. Not one of those with 40 people on it. Jack is great fun and full of knowledge. We bad so much fun we booked a a other cruise for the evening. Highly recommend!

Captain Jack was an excellent tour guide and host! We booked the 8 people tour but my husband and I ended up being the only couple so it became a private tour. We were thankful he didn’t cancel. He shared many fun facts while navigating the canals. Variety and plenty of alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks and snacks. We enjoyed the mini stroopwafels! He dropped us closer to our hotel at the end of the tour. Definitely worth the extra money to take a cruise with Captain Jack.
