This was amazing tour; even in the rain the Keukenhof garden was stunning and Giethoorn was gorgeous. Our tour guide, Raf, was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

You will never regret your choice. Thanks to our lovely tour guide, we were informed fully about anything and everything concerning Netherlands; very knowledged gentleman. Very good choice especially if you have limited time in the country and want to make the most of it. Seeing Keukenhof and Giethoorn in the same day was like a dream!

Awesome Amsterdam

Our day was spectacular. We were lost at first and couldn't find the meeting point, but the driver waited and the company called us to assist in directions. I am so grateful. Then we got see lots real of tulips, flowers, and drove to an enchanting village. There was enough free time. Excellent job everyone!

We took this tour in May and the timing was perfect. The Keukenhof was full of blooming tulips and the exhibition halls were filled with amazing floral arrangements. It was wonderful. The trip to Giethoorn was fun and we enjoyed having lunch there. We would definitely recommend this tour. But the truly special thing was the kindness shown to us by Mr. Alamudi Naufal. One of our friends accidentally left her purse at the restaurant in Giethoorn and didn't realize it until our return to Amsterdam win the late afternoon. Mr. Naufal arranged to have the purse picked up and delivered to our cruise line before we left. He did this with kindness and grace expecting nothing in return. He is a great asset to him company XALAM Tours and Travels. Thanks to him for saving our vacation.

Beautiful and relaxing

Finally, a wish come true. Although not in full bloom due to the weather, the fields of tulips were a sight to behold. Keukenhof was a delight with its huge collection of tulips and great scenery. Giethoorn was a calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. The boat ride was relaxing and it allowed us a great perspective of the area. Our guide was good but our driver was exceptional, an encyclopedia on wheels! Will definitely recommend this tour.

I organised my whole trip from New Zealand to see the tulips only to have them want to change the date on me within 24 hours of our tour We were flying out the next day so couldn’t change They offered no alternative They also mentioned my disability might be a problem when they cancelled us I had booked it months ago The hotel booked an alternative for us in 10 min I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

The Keukenhof Tulip Gardens were beautiful, and the amount of time there was perfect. The town of Giethoorn was picturesque, and the canal tour was fascinating. However, given the time it took to get there, more time should have been allowed to explore the village after the canal tour.

Keukenhof Gardens were amazing. We were allowed to roam through the gardens at our own pace and spent nearly 3 hours there. While travelling to Giethoorn (about 2 hours) we had an opportunity to see the Dutch countryside and Maria - our guide - explained the dyke system used for water control.

Too long bus travel time

Not transparent enough about the length of bus travel to and between experiences. Tulip garden was nice enough, as was canal boat ride but not enough to warrant the 5 hours total on the bus. About HALF the day. Also, our tour guide was sub par.

The gardens and Giethoorn was lovely. Great places to go. I thought the ride to Giethoorn was a long one though. I would say that the guide did very little guiding, mostly just got us there and back. I would have liked more info.

Good but really long day

Tour was well run - nice coach to take you to the sites - guide shared some info about places along the way but info was pretty limited. They give you recommendations on how best to tour the gardens but you are on your own in the gardens - they give you plenty of time to explore. Depending on traffic Geithoorn is at least an hour and 40 minutes from the gardens. Boat ride through village is interesting and you get an hour or so to explore the heart of the village on foot after boat tour. One of our party got "lost" and delayed our departure by 1/2 hour - they need a better system to keep this from happening because it made what was already a long day that much longer. It is at least another hour and 1/2 back to Amsterdam. It ends up being a 9 to 10 hour trip which is too long. If we had it to do again, we would do separate trips to the different sites on different days.

Spring at Giethoorn

Seeing Keukenhof again. Giethorn was undergoing a lot of repair/construction so less visually less appealing. We were also early in the year. Properties could do with beautification if on a tour, more spring bulbs.The boat was comfortable.

Keukenhof was great and it was very enjoyable. Geothorn was a lovely experience but the day was cold and blustery. The van needed updating and the company was quite pleasant amongst our small group.

Very unprofessional ! Organisers / Driver ruined our day ! It started with a 1 hour delay at the meeting point (in the street). Organisers and the driver didn’t even apologize. During the trip; the driver didn’t abide by the schedule or the agreed timing for the stops which messed up with the remaining of our day! The driver changed the schedule in favor of a couple which was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional ! If you are looking for a punctual and professional service .. this company shouldn’t be your choice 😡

Responsive communication before the trip, and well organised day tour that suited us as it let us do two great activities on the same day. Tour guide Noval was cheery, knowledgeable and welcoming. Keukenhof was well worth visiting even in the last days of the season, and giethoorn was beautiful, helped by lovely weather. Ran to time, comfortable coach and clear directions.
