Veronica is a great guide. Very informative and handled our group well. The gardens are amazing. We also stopped for pictures in tulip fields. The trip to Delft is worth while to see a smaller city away from Amsterdam. Also visited a pottery shop where the owner gave us an overview of the process of making pottery.

This was our first day in Amsterdam. This trip was amazing! Guide was informative, kind, and the size of group was perfect! Loved going to small shops, made purchases at each stop. Great start to our holiday.
Garden and Delft tour

The sights can be amazing and they were for us on April 26, 2024. The guide was good during the ride and added a commentary during most of the hour trip. While at the gardens, the guide held a flag for us to follow her. It was difficult to hear everything being discussed in our group of 15. We followed for the 1st hour and then split off and did our own thing in the gardens. I'd recommend that you head off on your own as soon as you get into the gardens. Following that, a quick stop at a tulip field with some remaining tulips and then on to Delft. We had a informational tour/visit of De Candelaer (Delft). A quick stop at a cheese shop (free samples but not sure why we went) and then approx. 45 minutes to wander. Check out the "new" church if it's open.
Keukenhof and Delft were amazing, but the tour experience was less than adequate

The tulip gardens were stunning, and we really enjoyed them. On the drive to the Keukenhof, the couple in back of us on the van were coughing the entire time, and my husband and I ended up getting a bad flu bug. The driver also accommodated them by picking them up directly from their hotel and dropping them off at their hotel. My husband (who is disabled) and I had to take an Uber to the designated pick up point, and then we were dropped off at a remote location and had to take an Uber from there to our hotel. Not sure why this other couple was given special accommodations. Also, when we went to Delft, most of the stores were closed, so our shopping was very limited. We and the other two couples told the driver we wanted to leave early because of this and because it was raining, but the driver still had us wait (in the pouring rain) until he was ready to leave.

Guide could not be heard in the van. Left us at the gardens for hours, then left us in Delft. Dropped us off at the back of the central station, with no way to enter it. We will never use your firm again.

Great tour guide and bus driver. Thanks Veronica and Denis for a great day at Kugenof and Delft. Veronica was an amazing tour guide who was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. She looked out for us and answered all our questions and even sang us a beautiful song. Highly recommend this tour. K Woods
Awful experience, depends on your tour guide

The good: The Keukenhof gardens were beautiful, and we were able to explore on our own. Delft was beautiful as well, and we loved the pottery demo with Stefan. Being on the tour meant not having to worry about transportation or parking. The bad: Our tour guide was Cherry, the owner of the tour company, and there was a separate driver. Cherry was extremely frantic, and her narration of the sights was rambling and repetitive, often with incorrect information. For the initial drive to the gardens, the entirety of her narration went back to trying to sell us on different tours she offered. After exploring the gardens, she did a very poor job of meeting up with us, losing us valuable time in Delft. I also do not recommend trying for a photo in the tulip fields; there are very few places to stop, and we lost more time trying to find one. After Delft, the tour guide also began arguing with tour attendees over her poor communication of itinerary options. Overall, the tour itself was very chaotic and stressful.

Had a wonderful guide, Osman. He was very personable and took extra time and help with my mom who could not walk fast. He was extremely knowledgeable about Amsterdam, Keukenhof and Delft. He was a great driver and very safe and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

This experience far exceeded our expectations! We were actually expecting to tour some tulip fields(which were included) but the gardens were magnificent. Our guide was a bonus because he was so knowledgeable about the gardens and the flowers. Delft was a little difficult because they were preparing for the coming holiday. We elected to do the Vermeer museum there and it was worth the time.

Good experience for first visit to Keukenhof

Our guide/driver Eldos was very pleasant, informative, and a safe skilled driver. Once we arrived at Keukenhof, our group was escorted to a demonstration on tulip growth and varietal development. Anyone interested in ordering bulbs was escorted to the location for that process. Otherwise, tour group members had free time sufficient to roam the gardens, get a snack/meal, and take hundreds of photos of this amazingly beautiful place. The Tulip Fields stop was short but supplemented the learning experience and provided the opportunity for a few more good photos. There were mixed reactions to Delft as the last tour destination, possibly because our group was elderly and energy levels were running low. Overall, I was happy with the tour and would book again with Cherry Travel & Tours.

Timing at each stop was good. Beautiful flower gardens and fields. Delft cheese and pottery making demos were nice. Smaller size group and of 8 and van having pros and cons.

We offer this to people who appreciate the canal city similar to Amsterdam, yet it is 10 times less crowded. It is the birth city of famous painter Johannes Vermeer, admiring his work of art is pleasure, not to mention it is burial site of royal family in the New Church and so much more. My middle-school age daughter and I traveled to Amsterdam to see Vermeer, and we took advantage of this tour. We’re glad we did, as this was one highlight of our trip! Our guide, Osman, was very informative, kind, and helpful. Keukenhof was incredible, as were the tulip fields! We loved the peaceful, idyllic town of Delft, too, and enjoyed great cheese & chocolate there! Would highly recommend this tour!

As an amateur botanical artist this was a bucket list visit for me. The visit was way beyond my wildest expectations. Our driver Joaquin took us to all the places we would have missed if we’d done it on our own. Delft was very special as well. Don’t hesitate, just book!

I was disappointed in this tour because I think the tour description was misleading. The description said that an informative guide would give us a tour of Delft and the Keukenhof Gardens. We were driven to the gardens and Delft by a pleasant young man but he didn't act a guide. He shared a few details about the gardens and Delft, but we were then left to explore on our own. It was interesting to see the pottery factory.

Disappointing and Expensive

While our guide, Eldos, was very nice, this tour is completely overpriced for what you get. Essentially, you are paying [a lot] for a ride to Keukenhof and Delft and for a ticket to the gardens. While Eldos did provide some commentary, those in the back could not hear well, and he himself admitted that he needed to learn more. Furthermore, we booked this tour because it include Delft, but our time there was cut short by delays. First, the guide was 15 minutes late arriving in the morning. When we arrived at Keukenhof, not all of the tickets scanned, so we had to wait while he tried to sort that out. Eventually, we went off on our own, missing the tulip growing demonstration he said that he had prearranged. The gardens were very crowded and the boat ride was completely sold out until much later in the day. The tour company either needs to prearrange or warn you that it’s likely to be sold out. On the way to Delft, we stopped at a tulip field which was very nice. When we got to Delft (behind schedule), another guest informed us that she needed to be back in Amsterdam for another appointment, so we had to cut short our visit even more. We visited a pottery factory, which was interesting, but after that, we only had about an hour to enjoy the city. This was very disappointing. Returning to Amsterdam, we dropped the other guest at her appointment, adding another 1/2-1 hour to the trip. All-in-all, an expensive van ride that left us disappointed.

After spoken to the guide, that day was very busy on the road delaying the tour schedule, the bright side of is that we got to see all the attractions planned for you. Your guide is an experienced and competent speaking 6 languages, he does not run this tour everyday as this tour is indeed available only 7 weeks a year. He is bring humble, he is more expert in other tours and got 5-star reviews most of the time. It is a matter of communication, if you could ask him questions, he could answer or got help from the team in Keukenhof to answer, it is included in the package. The tulips were amazing! Every color imaginable. Delft was lovely and the tour of the hand painted pottery was fun. Our driver Aku was charming and very informative. Altogether a fabulous day.
