Perfect meeting place. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. We went to places we would never have visited without her guidance. The food was Dutch with broad diversity from cheeses, sausages, pancakes, Dutch apple pie, a visit to a fish monger, and a special stop along the way. Walking was easy. Our guide was very personable and friendly. She did a great job of moving our diverse group from venue to venue despite the crowded streets. She kept a good pace for the group and was attentive to our comfort (rest rooms). We enjoyed learning more about Dutch food and quality of life. Really enjoyed this. Jules was a great tour guide, especially explaining how a lot of the foods we ate originated. I especially appreciated that he didn't shy away from the dutch history of enslaving Indonesian people. The food was great too. Definitely more for the adventurous type with the meats and the herring. Very pescararian friendly but not for you if you don't eat fish.

Amsterdam's Best Food

This walking tour took us through some of the best food we're ever had. Every single spot we went to was delicious and the city is gorgeous. Not only did we go to some amazing restaurants, but Holly told us about the history of the Jordaan district and we made a stop in the "Mouse House" museum. Our tour ended In The Papeneiland Café, which was so good we had to go back for more!

We had an amazing Saturday morning tour with Judith! Not only was the food delicious but the people we met were just fantastic characters with their own stories to tell. It felt like being part of a small local community in a wonderful part of Amsterdam. Learning about the history of the city and its links to food was really great.
