The good thing about this tour was that they started on time at 7:10AM Things I didn't like are - He stopped at some artifacts store place and wasted 30mins asking us to shop, +15mins explaining something that could be done quicker. There was really only one store and everything was over priced. We bought some chichen itza souveniers that was 5x compared to the price that was sold for by local vendors infront of chichen itza - when we went to valloid the traffic was backed up so much that it caused a lot of delay - the time we got dropped back at our hotel was 9:40pm - Also keep in mind, this tour does cenote first and then chichen itza (if that matters)

Mediocre excursion. Too rushed, way too many people on the bus for 1 tour guide. Would not do this one again…
Life-time experience

We enjoyed the hospitality of the crew members and their spirit in guiding us through the archeological sites and Mayan culture. Great experience. Thanks to our tour guide.
Must do excursion

Absolutely brilliant day, we changed to hotel pick up at the last minute with no issues at all, communication was good and the guides were excellent.
Mixed feelings; great culture spoilt by commercialism
Andrew_F, May 2023
Guides very knowledgeable and Chichester Itza is impressive and Cenote is pretty. However the trip was spoilt by too much time at the shop and an unnecessary short stop on the way back in a town. Too much time spent trying to sell us things at over the top prices. Give more time to the two sites we paid to see and more free time at them. Bus broke down but great effort sorting taxis. Price good in comparison to hotel excursion but watch for the added state taxes.
The guides were priceless!

Great day with amazing guides! Learned so much and had the best time! A little confusing being picked up at hotel and switching busses, but figured it out.

Apart from the lack of organization with pick up (they left me waiting for half an hour without telling me anything, until I called and they sent someone to get me, making me think they would have actually left me there if I hadn't called), the tour was good and the guide was very knowledgeable. It's a full on day but you get to see and do a lot.

Hidden cost

45 min only at chichen. It's not 45 but 150$ cause you pay ticket then when you arrive at bus station, you are suppose to pay 35 but they charged 54$ on my card. Then you have to pay for locker and vest
Adequate

Booked last-minute. Was aware of the $35 “tax” charged at check-in. Would make more sense to just include it in the initial price. Transfers were adequate, but you must taxi or Uber if you are not at a major hotel. Bus was comfortable. Staff was informative and entertaining. Lunch at restaurant was ok. Server tried charging me for 3 drinks, when I only had 1 Coca Cola. Paid with $MX500, price was $MX55. Only given $MX300 change. When I showed the server he “made a mistake,” he only offered to give me $MX50 back. I would have tipped larger if he didn’t steal from me. Before you eat, you are told about how the Mayan descendants hand make all souvenirs we are forced to look at. Told the stickers on the items are the initials of the people who made them, but saw a woman sticking random initials on random items. Bought 3 items and had them blessed by the shaman, who charged me $MX200 for the blessing. Chichen Itza itself was very beautiful once you walk past the gauntlets of vendors. 2 hours to listen to the tour guide or walk around on your own. Very cool to see one of the “new wonders of the world.” Bring a hat and water. Also, bring snacks and water for the bus ride. Over all, it was a cool experience and I’m happy I did it. I don’t need to do it again.

The trip was jam packed. If you are staying in Cancun be ready for a long bus ride, it takes around 3 hrs to get to Chichen Itza, on the way home it is broken up and not as bad. However, all in all, they did a great job and we were well occupied during our 13hr long day.
Great trip!
Prayash_K, Dec 2022
It was a great trip. I can't think of a better deal at this price. The guides were super nice and friendly. They made sure we were picked up and droped off properly. Took good care of all the travellers. Well, as in all other touristic spots they (the stores or places we visit in trip not the tour people) do try to sell stuffs but it is absolutely fine to say no.
Chichen Itza tour
Vanessa_M, Dec 2022
The cultural knowledge provided by the tour guides was amazing. Beautiful pyramids and Mayan artifacts from local vendors. Nice experience but a bit too rushed due to large amount of tourists visiting the site. Go early or rent a car if you want to really enjoy this experience.
A day out visiting Chichen Itsa

Well worth the visit and quite amazing to learn how a civilization was able to construct such fantastic structures....
Great tour and great guides!
Joe_F, Sep 2022
Chichen Itza was stunning and it was made really by the four guys who ran the tour. The amount of information that was given was great and helped the journey to Chichen Itza go quickly. I would have liked a bit more time at the cenote but it was beautiful and we had to work with a time so understandable. Would highly recommend this tour as it is great value for money.
decent and enjoyable
Hiren_D, Jul 2022
Enjoyable trip. Tour guide was informative but tended to mix Spanish and English when touring which did made it difficult to follow. Maybe say one language first? Absolutely no issues with timetable, reasonable and fair. If you are selecting the classic (cheaper option) then make sure you carry ample snacks as you get one lunch meal inclusive. Lots of eateries options at every stop.
We really enjoyed this...

We really enjoyed this tour and thought it was well worth the money. We were staying at a downtown airbnb so they messaged on Whatsapp and gave us the nearest hotel pick up. The tour guides were funny and gave a lot of good information about the itinerary and during the tour. One guide did it in English, the other in Spanish. Chichen Itza was very interesting to see, the lunch taco buffet was small but tasty, the Samaal Cenote was refreshing and Valladolid was a quick stop to get a dessert (marquesitas!!!) and watch the local dancers for a few minutes. We had a great time. You can pay the Chichen Itza entry fees at check-in in dollars or pesos. Bring a couple bottles of water for Chichen Itza and cash for drinks at lunch, spending and tips and you should be all set!
Good experience
Sara_D, Jun 2022
The excursions was good. The cenote and Valladolid stops whore a little unecessary as it was a little rushed. It would be better to only do Chichen Itza and make it a shorter excursion. Overall very nice and informative guides
An Amazing & Phenomenal Experience!!!
Carolyn_M, Apr 2022
It was a beautiful experience!! Jesus, the archeologist, Francisco and Lorenzo the drivers, did a phenomenal job. I enjoyed learning the History, and culture of the Mayan people. We were able to see how the locals live and the different architecture of various time span, such as colonial period, etc. The Cenote was an experience. It was beautiful just to see it live and in person. Jesus who is an Mayan, had so much knowledge, broke everything down that even a child can understand. We were able to see an Obsidian rock and also meet with a Native Mayan Doctor/Medicine Man/Shaman. The guides took really good care of us and made us aware of what and where we should go. I felt very safe....It is a full day event that is so worth it. You will not be disappointed with this team. You will have an unforgettable experience.
Beautiful day in the Yucatan Peninsula
HeatherMaria_M, Apr 2022
The family enjoyed a day with Victor as their guide. With Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and the Cenote what else could you ask for?!
