Overview

What To Expect

After hotel pickup in Cancun, you’re driven to a beach club for a brief orientation. Once you receive your snorkeling gear and make use of the on-site facilities, including dressing rooms, your guide takes you by boat to two snorkeling sites at Puerto Morelos National Reef Park, located on the the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

Spend approx. two hours exploring the marine life and receive information about what to expect at each locale while on board the boat. After you explore the colorful corals and tropical fish in these warm Caribbean waters, you’re delivered back to the beach for a delicious lunch buffet followed by free time.

Relax in a hammock, stroll along the beach and have the option to snorkel once again in the afternoon before departing the beach club for drop-off at your hotel.

This was our second time on this excursion. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys snorkeling. We did not receive a detailed confirmation until a day or two before we left for our vacation. Our hotel concierge tried to verify a pick up time, but was not successful. The confirmation we received stated a pick up time of 7:45-9:00. At 9:15 we were still waiting for our transportation. Luckily I took my iPad with me and was able to see at 9:15 a new email had been sent changing the pick up time to 10:30. A lot of wasted time.
