ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DAY!!!!
Stephanie_D, Apr 2024
This day trip was amazing from beginning to end!!!! Highly recommended 👌 I booked online after reading through many different option and pick this one with no regrets! Our tour guide was Susanna and our driver was Moses and both were amazing! I received a message that they were running behind but knowing our resort was a bit of a distance off the main road and a busy area they ended up getting through the line of cars fast and picked us up exactly on time. Susanna was so welcoming and we choose to sit right at the front to soak it all in. We were with a group with only a couple other English speaking people and she is so talented at speaking Spanish and English simultaneously and she was so knowledgeable! The day went so smooth. Lunch was later in the day so make sure to eat before you leave or expect to spend some money on snacks.... each ruin had places available to grab something to eat! Tulum was beautiful It's more in the open so the sun was hot but the views are to die for. (You are able to bring in personal water bottle but not plastic disposal bottles!) Coba was more shaded in trees and we had the option to walk, ride bikes or go on what they can a limousine( you sit on the front of a 3 wheeler bike and man bikes you around.) It was so fun and we were able to to see alot because coba is very spread out. The limousine was an extra charge but well worth it, our whole group took that choice. We then went through a Mayan community into the middle of the jungle for a late lunch, the community runs on solar power and car batteries and the food was delicious. After lunch, we got to swim in cenote Chen Ha and Cenote Mariposa, both smaller but beautiful! Before we left the Mayan community we got to take part in a Mayan ceremony with a shaman. It's not a long ceremony but was it ever powerful. I was balling my eyes out and released so much energy. (It was my mother death date and I'm not very spiritual but I felt her with me and I released some much need sadness that turned into peace, our group was staring at me probably assuming other thing but I had told Susanna the reason for my tears and she was so supportive!) When we were heading back to our resort we did a bus switch with a couple people in another group so they could get everyone home in good time. It was smooth and well done! Thank for the experience and will be requesting Susanna next time we come to Mexico! Overall, one of the best day tours I've ever gone on!!!!
Ok tour but with false information — do not recommend
Dacong_Y, Apr 2024
The actual full day tour is fine. I’m most upset with their website with false information. Note that admissions are not included. They charge you $25 usd per person, which is higher than if you buy the tickets yourself. Also, they would say it’s some kind of tax, and maintain that admission is indeed included. When challenged, they would say admission is not included for your particular purchase. They also have a variety of different versions of inclusion/exclusion. Overall it’s very confusing and misleading. The Cenote for this tour is also tiny. Much worse than other places you can visit instead. Lunch is late at 3:15pm. Food is simple but ok-ish.
Amazing sites but be prepared for the journey times.
Sarah_K, Apr 2024
The pick up points weren’t thought through. We asked to be picked up at our hotel but they said we had to walk to a meeting point 15 mins away for 8.05am. We then drove straight past our hotel door and the next stop was 5 mins away but we waited until 9am for the guests to arrive so our early morning really wasn’t necessary. That said the Tulum ruins, Coba pyramid and the cenotes were fabulous. It was incredibly hot and you can’t take plastic bottles into Tulum so take a flask for water. After Tulum we were provided with a snack and bottled water. Lunch at the cenotes was lovely but later in the day about 3.30pm so make sure you have breakfast. Make sure you make the effort to go to the 2nd cave cenote as it was very beautiful. We were ideally placed at Puerto Aventuras to be one of the first stop offs at approx 7pm. It’s a long day but was really interesting. Our guide was lovely and attentive but his English could have been easier to understand.
Well organised day out!
Adrian_R, Mar 2024
This is a well organised, enjoyable tour - the guide was great without being overbearing. Lots of free time at each place to take pictures and explore. The Cenote swim was a great way to end the day.
Nice day
Matthew_H, Mar 2024
Mario is a really good tour guide. But the itinerary needs a little work — just be aware that the meal does not happen till about 4 PM. We needed more food even though the bus driver did provide bottled water and a granola bar. That was a great touch.
Cultural Experience
Roy_D, Mar 2024
Great way to see some of Mexico and learn about the Mayan culture and history. Be prepared for a long day of learning and walking. The tour is extremely well organized. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a snack because lunch is very late in the afternoon.

Great Experience!
Olivia_R, Feb 2024
We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Susanna was excellent. She was fun, knowledgeable, and kept things moving along. We learned so much about the ruins and Mayan culture! My favorite part was swimming in the Cenote and doing the ceremony with the Mayan shaman. Overall, it was a great experience and you get to see/do a lot in one day. I would recommend bringing snacks because lunch was a bit late. Good walking shoes are also very important! We were picked up at our hotel at 7:25am (right on time) and got back to our hotel about 8:30pm. So as the title says, this is a full-day tour! Thank you Susanna for a fun day!
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Thank you for sharing your experience on the tour with Susanna! It sounds like you had a fantastic time exploring the ruins and immersing yourself in Mayan culture. Swimming in the Cenote and participating in the ceremony with the Mayan shaman must have been incredible experiences. Your recommendations about bringing snacks and wearing comfortable shoes are very helpful for future travelers planning to take the tour. It's great to hear that the tour ran smoothly and that you were able to see and do a lot in one day. We'll make sure to pass along your kind words to Susanna and the tour company. Best regards,
Bring snacks!
Ashley_H, Jan 2024
Overall it was amazing, but the kids were starving. Lunch wasn’t till 4pm and we didn’t get back till 8pm. We had some snacks with us, but not enough for that! Bike taxis and Coba were wonderful and cenote spectacular!
All fabulous. Bus is...
Norman_S, Jan 2024
All fabulous. Bus is great. Sites glorious! Bring a snack as lunch is late but totally unique day!! Very informative experience!
Good overall trip
sfarouque1, Jan 2024
Bauer was our guide. He is professional, explains history well, and punctual. Tulum is stunning. Only suggestion is that the company does not pick you up at the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Cancun even when you indicate it and request pick up. Day before the tour they inform you that you need to come to the Fairfield Hotel. At this point you as a customer has to pay taxi to come to the meeting spot which cost us 650 pesos when it is literally 7 minutes a distance. Whereas, another company I booked a tour with and requested pickup actually came to the hotel. Keep this in mind when you book with them. Otherwise, the trip in itself was great. The cenote they took us to was so relaxing.

Terrible Tour Experience, Unfortunately
Angie_O, Jan 2024
Unfortunately this tour was a terrible experience. We were kept waiting on the side of the road for 45 min, 1.5 hours later than promised arriving to Tulum so the amount of time permitted there was halved, the guides were incomprehensible and raced through their confusing explanations, and although we'd been with them since 7.30, no snack or lunch had been provided by 2.15. Upon request we were given a granola bar (which was inedible to the vegan member of our group). The tour was posted as 'all day' but the 12-hour duration was stretched to 14 hours. We ended up leaving the tour early and taking a taxi back to our resort to try to salvage the day.
Response from Host, Jan 2024

No customer services at all
Yuanyuan_X, Dec 2023
We miss understood the meeting point and missed the pickup at 7:30am. We contacted and asked to be rescheduled starting at 7:45am on the same day 12/17. They played around with us by phone calls and WhatsApp and never contacted us back for either reschedule or any kind of customer services. Really angry and frustrating experience here!

Do not book. Terrible company.
Calvin_T, Dec 2023
The company SAT Mexico has terrible customer service. They canceled my tour 50 minutes prior to the scheduled start time with no prior notice. Turns out there's only one real Tulum/Coba tour and all other tours just coordinate through them. You can book cheaper if you book directly with that company. Save yourself some money and headache and avoid SAT Mexico.
Response from Host, Dec 2023
