Gallery: wonderful; Ticketing deeply annoying!!

The gallery is wonderful; art work does not disappoint and crowds are manageable. BUT: walking to one end of the city to exchange a voucher, then an extended walk through crowds to pick up a ticket is crazy and annoying waste of time and effort. Please issue a voucher and time at one place near the gallery. The extended walking and searching for an address through building works was unacceptable at best, and bloody annoying. Please FIX this system!

Good instructions on how to get the tickets after the booking. The ticket was timely as expected. Heads-up that the museum entry time seems runs late as the day goes by. For example, our ticket was for 10:30, we were invited to enter around 11. It is a worthwhile wait to see such a masterpiece in my opinion.

The museum changed our entry time, but the agent was very helpful looking for me and giving me all the details I needed to know, one o had the tickets it was very easy to get in. The whole experience was very nice.
The David is a must see.

we loved seeing The David up close. The problem was the communication from the tour operator. We were already halfway to the Academia when they texted to come pick up tickets back by the Uffiz (10 minute walk in the other direction from where we were)i. It would have been helpful to get that info the day before so we would have planned better.

Skipping the line is a must for this experience if you like saving time. We enjoyed getting in easily and doing a quick self-guided tour. You can definitely spend a lot of time here if art is what you came for. Getting the tickets from the office was very simple too.

I would recommend going to see the statue. The complaint I have about this is the ease of getting tickets is not great. The pickup is in a location not near the venue and you can only go an hour before. I was already close by so tried to get them early and was told the guy hadn’t picked them up yet so I needed to come back. It was inconvenient for sure. Also upon arrival it was extremely unorganized basically chaos with the skip the line red point line very long and about an hour behind schedule. Once inside I would say it was worth it but definitely a headache getting to that point despite buying skip the line tickets.
There must be an easier way to buy skip the line timed entry tickets than this!

It was crazy to have to walk blocks away to an impossible to find office in order to exchange the voucher for actual tickets. I do not believe that this was disclosed until after I booked the activity. I could not find the office. I called them and basically made the guy come outside to meet me where I was standing by the statues outside the Uffizi Gallery. This was very stressful.
Skip the line and see the masterpiece in real life. It is really beautiful!

There was a gigantic line that looked like it would take a week to get through! Fortunately, I had this pass and skip the line worked fabulously!

The experience of the academia gallery was great. I made a mistake and didn’t get the meeting place right. They were so nice. They met us in front of the gallery with the tickets. It was much appreciated.

Seeing the statue was a memorable experience. Also the stated meeting point /place to purchase tickets was about a mile away from the gallery but luckily a keen tour operator was able to text me and locate me quickly at the front.

The process of buying tickets, having to go to the opposite side of town fight the masses of people to pick up physical tickets ( that they could send to you in a PDF or in an App electronically) to then go back across town to the Gallerie to stand in a line even though you have an assigned time seemed very inefficient & frustrating.

Totally worth the ticket because I definitely wouldn’t have made it in to see the David that day because it was a 5 hr long line. I had to wait about 20 minutes, but that’s nothing, and I enjoyed every moment of walking around and seeing the sights💕

Better to buy directly at the official site. We had to walk almost 15 minutes from the Academia Gallery to go exchange the voucher for the tickets at the local tourism agency. Because of this we were late for the scheduled time. The agency paid for a rebooking of our tickets for 30 minutes later, which was nice of them.

I arrived to the entrance 45 minutes ahead of time only to find out that the ticket voucher had to be redeemed at a remote location 51 minutes away. Never made the tour. Halfway back to my hotel I had a call from Viator offering to meet me at the entrance to get me in. Too late. Should have just gotten in the long line to buy a ticket.
