What To Expect

With this small-group cooking class, skip the hassle of finding an authentic restaurant and create traditional Italian dishes with a local cook in her private home. Benefit from the luxury of choosing between morning and evening cooking sessions, making them easy to fit into your schedule.

After receiving a confirmation of the address, grab a taxi from Piazzale di Romana to a 16th-century villa in the hills of Florence about ten minutes from the city center. Start with a coffee and cookies and then dig into the preparations.

Roll out dough by hand and learn to make two types of pasta while enjoying an aperitif with bruschetta and a few glasses of Prosecco. Learn to make handmade gnocchi and complementary sauces and enjoy the meal with your group.

This tour is a MUST on your trip to Florence!

We loved every second of this experience. We were welcomed into Ms. Francy’s home as if we had known her forever. The cooking class was both informative and SO much fun! We made three different kinds of pasta, had lots of wine, Bruschetta and cheese! Will definitely be coming back to see her on our next trip.

Myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters had an absolutely wonderful time! The view is breathtaking! We had so much fun learning about pasta making and plenty of tips to bring back home. The girls really enjoyed this as much as the adults. The food was delicious, the Prosecco was flowing and it was a wonderful evening. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy!

Wooooow! Absolutely magical, cozy & delicious experience & curated beautifully to us. Francy is so fun and kept us laughing the entire time. Her home is beautiful and the view of the a Florentine hills while making pasta was absolutely stunning and worth this experience alone! We got to make 3 different types of pasta (gnocchi in tomato basil sauce, ravioli in sage & butter sauce, & angel hair pasta in pesto sauce). Upon coming in we enjoyed cookies and coffee, then we enjoyed wine with delicious cheese and bruschetta which was phenomenal while letting our dough rest. Francy made sure our wine glasses were never empty. Seriously, never empty! Gosh the pasta was soooo yummy. We were full and so happy! Tomaso, Francy's assistant was amazing, skillful & so kind too. They are truly experts when it comes to pasta making & teaching us! The dessert was delicious and we all bonded so well together! We'll definitely be coming back again in the future and recommend this experience for EVERYONE!

We had an amazing time learning how to make a bunch of Italian classics. Francy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We had so much food and alcohol and we really liked how she was strict about how to make the dishes but approachable and helpful if we had any questions or needed any help. She has a lovely house and she was in no rush for us to leave, her main concern was that we were having a good time. We would 100% recommend!
