In such cases, there will be no refunds. You can still enjoy USS Arizona exhibits, the Visitors’ Center and park monuments as well as the Honolulu City Tour. The duration of the tour stays the same!

Definitely take the tour

The tour was wonderful, just enough time to see what I wanted to see and not be worn out by staying out too long making short stops. Being a senior, I appreciate the less 5-10 minutes stops along the way. Our driver, Sierra, was terrific. So knowledgeable about the history of the islands. A great driver through all the downtown traffic. Hotel pick up was right on time in a large, comfortable van. The drive to Pearl Harbor was not very long. I would suggest when you get there, you go immediately to the theater to see the movie. It is the same location as the line for waiting for the shuttles to the Arizona Monument. Then go through the museum and gift shop, grab a snack and then get in line for the shuttle as a timed group. Once there you have about 15-20 minutes, which is long enough, and the shuttle will take you back as a group. If you take a longer tour or go on your own, you can tour the submarine or take a bus to Ford Island and tour the Missouri. The property is beautiful. Such a moving experience. Sierra made a special stop for us at the Leonard's Donut Truck and that was a great extra! Delicious local food only available at that location. I appreciated that stop! Walked along the Iolani Palace property and saw the Kamehameha Statue for great pictures. We got back on time – we were never made to feel rushed. Great day!

They do not notify you until 25.5 hours before your departure what time and pickup location you get. Considering I was in the ocean shark diving, I could not view the message. When I got to land and let them know the assigned time & location didn't work, they said it was less than 24 hours notice and they refused a refund. Viator pointed the finger at Daniel's & Daniel's pointed the finger at Viator. Shady business practice of not notifying customers sooner. Go when you want on your own & get headphones. You do not need a tour guide for this visit

The tour has a variable start time, depending on the tickets we receive for the USS Arizona Memorial. Your start time was at 1030am. We confirmed the start time on 2/23 at 903am. We didn’t hear back from you until 136pm - no big deal! We hope you had fun swimming with the sharks! You mentioned that your tour was supposed to be 630am-1130am. Unfortunately there is no such tour. Even with a 630 pickup time you would be back around 1230-1pm. Our Pearl Harbor Tour takes 5-6 hours, with 3 hours at Pearl Harbor. However, in order to receive a refund within the 24 hour cancellation period, you had to speak to viator - the 24 hour cancellation period is their rule and they also have your money. Operators get paid AFTER the tour. If they do not agree to the refund, we can’t give you back your money, since we don’t have it. If you had purchased the ticket directly through DanielsHawaii.com and added TripProtection, we could have refunded you - no questions asked! We apologize for the inconvenience. Enjoy your cruise! Terrible team, took my money

Terrible! Money wasted! We booked the trip for 4 during our Christmas vacation. The operator has no credit at all. Cannot provide German tours and refused to offer any refund. We did not go to the tour at all and our $380 goes down to the drain, and ruined our vacation mood. We asked for refund, the operator asked us go through Viator. 3 weeks later, still no refund.

The driver was very nice and that was about it. The tour company kept changing my departure time from 6:30am to 9am and to 8:30am....and it didn't secure the ticket for USS Arizona, which was the whole point of booking this trip - i saw many other tour companies got the tickets on that same day; so the trip ended up offering some basic transportation with limited time. It was very underwhelming. The tour company did offer $10 refund but what $10 could do when more than half of your day was ruined?

That's why we texted, emailed and called you to make sure you know your options. Option 1 - Come on tour with us and take advantage of the stand-by line to the USS Arizona and get a $10 refund per person as apology for the inconvenience. You still get to see all the museums, the movie, downtown etc. Just FYI - we are the only tour company offering this, even though your booking does not guarantee tickest to the boat ride. Pretty awesome of us, right? Option 2: Reschedule - which you didn't want to. Option 3: Get a 70% Refund - which you chose not to. You had a city tour to Pearl Harbor, lead by a professional guide. Besides your 3 hours at Pearl Harbor National Park, you saw the Iolani Palace, Aloha Tower, King Kamehameha Statue, Queen Lilioukalani Statue, the Hawaii State Capitol, the Eternal Flame and the guide gave recommendations for your trip. Pearl harbor Arizona tour

Called tour company two times to confirm boat tickets and was told we would be called back by a specific date and time. We were never called back. Received text massage at 7pm the night before stating that there was no boat tickets and we could cancel and receive a 70% refund. Tanked to Viator to cancel tour for full refund and was told they would have to talk to tour operator. was called at 8:30 pm stating tour was on. We were picked up at 8:05 am and picked up 2 more groups and showed up at pearl at 9:02 for a 9:15 tour . our whole group missed the 9:15 and would have to wait stand by for many hours. Our group was able to get on the 9:30 because a worker felt sorry for us. This is the most unprofessional tour company i have ever dealt with. It is glorified transportation with nothing else. I would get tickets on your own
