For all bookings made for 2020 for Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, we need surname and name of every participant (the same as in their ID or PASSPORT). If we will not get it, we will not be able to buy entrance tickets to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
Please make sure to bring with you to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, ID or PASSPORT, because the guards will ask about it before enter. (without it, you will not be able to enter the museum).
Our cars will be disinfection before each service

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Would hugely recommend these amazing tour guides. Driver lovely. In touch with us all the time. Made us a huge lunch for little money. Tour guide at Auswitch was fantastic. Knowledgeable and humble. So respectful to the victims and eager to urge us all to learn and never repeat. This is a MUST in anybody’s visit to krakow. So very sad but so humbling.

Upsetting and humbling

We did the hotel pick up and drop off driver was excellent. This was a very harrowing and poignant trip which must be done when in Krakówl. The tour of auschwitz and Birkenau took approximately took just over 4 hours and an hour and a half drive each way, from the city centre. It involves a lot of walking so wearing comfy shoes is recommended. We were in a group of about 20 people with our own tour guide and were given headphones so we could walk around and look at the artefacts and pictures whilst she spoke through the microphone. It is a very upsetting and humbling experience but a definite must.

A must do trip

I have visited before but the feeling is the same, humbling, horrific, sad and yet you feel the strength of the victims. Not a bird to be seen or heard on either visit. Our guide was fabulous and very passionate about the history of both camps

Perfect for most

Pickup was on time and reliable. We didn’t have any problems with our driver who seemed helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend wearing comfortable footwear for this trip as there is a lot of walking. I use a mobility aid and struggled with the terrain but that isn’t something anyone could help. There are also a lot of uneven steps in the museum, so it wouldn’t necessarily be appropriate for those that struggle with mobility and accessibility. In those cases I would probably recommend a private tour so you can go at a slower pace. For most able bodied people though, this was perfect.

We would highly recommend this company. Thomas the driver was very friendly. He arrived at the hotel promptly for the pickup. On arrival at Auschwitz, it was very busy. Thomas escorted us through the entry gates and security to meet our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable having done the job for 25 years. Thomas then drove us to Birkenau and our guide was waiting for us at the entrance. A very worthwhile and respectful trip.

Our experience from start to finish was first class. Thomas (driver) picked us up from our apartment and was v polite, friendly and knowledgeable, with nothing being too much trouble. The tour guide was amazing and her passion for the history of the camps was evident. Myself and my friend learnt things that we never knew, despite being history geeks and we found ourselves repeatedly saying to each other "How could people have let this happen?".

Guide was brilliant but time constraints short

The trip was well organised from the operators front but had to sit around waiting at next hotel for remainder of group as they weren't ready on time bit annoying when it was 40mins from us being picked up to actually leaving Krakow the hotel was only a few mins from ours. Our guide at the camp was really good and knowledgeable especially for a younger person she was extremely invested and passionate to educate, she answered questions willingly and confidently making sure we understood fully. We couldn't have asked for a better guide on that front. The reason I rate it as average as the time constraints given at the main camp weren't sufficient for you to actually take in and acknowledge everything, we felt like we'd missed a number of the buildings we'd have like to have seen as from what we could see there was around another 5 or 6 that were open to public viewing. It was quite rushed on that side although we did get to see probably what we'd deem as some of the worst parts of the main camp. Birkenau is very much a visual shock with the sheer size of it, we had the same guide again and she was brilliant ... From a time constraints part at this camp a little longer just to see a wooden hut on the opposite side would have been good just to get the visualisation and horror but we didn't leave there feeling like we'd not got a full appreciation for the museum/memorial unlike the first one. I think an hour of free time in the main Auschwitz camp we visited first just to ponder, do our own reading as there were English translations and take it in would have really made it. If you're nervy of exploring new things in different countries I think a tour like this is the right way to go and on that front they were great but if you're a bit like us and truly invested in learning more then consider the time constraints as both camps are substantial

Informative tour guide

Pick up was prompt and right outside our door. Great touch to have the video on the way there. Tour felt a little rushed through but it was so busy and we were there on a Saturday so can't grumble. Got a decent amount of time at birkenau. No time to eat in the cafe so Def take snacks which you can eat on the short journey between the two camps. We were picked up at 8 and back in Krakow by 3. Driver was great and showed us where to go to meet our guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. Very passionate when he spoke which made for a very informative tour. All in all very good. Just marked one star down for the rush but probably unfair as it was a busy weekend. Def would book again
