What To Expect

Hop aboard your coach in central London, and relax on the journey west to Windsor, known as a residence of King Charles III. On arrival, you’ll head inside Windsor Castle (if option selected) or have free time to explore the town.

The next stop is Stonehenge, the prehistoric stone circle that’s captivated visitors with questions since its discovery. If you selected the option to enter, step inside the exhibition center to learn more, then enjoy some time amid the stones themselves.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to Oxford, where University of Oxford sites like the Bodleian Library and Christ Church College await. After passing these attractions, you’ll stroll around the cobbled streets of Oxford on a walking tour, learning about the City of Dreaming Spires.

You’ll then return to the start point in central London, arriving in the evening.

Our tour guide, Patricia and our driver Patrick were both amazing. We heard hundreds of facts and learned a lot on the ride from venue to venue. There was enough time at each site to see many of the highlights and explore on our own if we wanted. I highly recommend this tour!! It was a wonderful experience. The buses are comfortable and had charger ports at each seat for us to charge our phones.

Overall we had a great time! We did not realize that Windsor Castle was closed on Tuesday and I feel like you guys could have been more clear about that but we still enjoyed the tour.

It was good but you need to remove the statement that the bus is behind Buckkngham Palace. It’s not.

Stonehenge, Oxford and Windsor Castle. You need to remove the statement that the bus is behind Buckingham Palace. It’s not. I was late because of that statement and had to take a train to meet the bus at Windsor Castle.

Definitely glad to have visited Windsor and Stonehenge. Enough time at both. Oxford was interesting, but possibly not worth the long drive (it made for quite a long day). Sheila our guide was very friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made sure our group was taken care of every step of the way. Our driver was easy going, too.

This is the second time I've been on this tour. The first was absolutely wonderful and while we really enjoyed it the second time, our tour guide was very harsh and grumpy and set a tone for the day that was not enjoyable.

Memorable Day Trip!

Tom (our tour guide) and Sam (our bus driver) were extremely nice and made this trip very memorable! Definitely recommend adding this excursion to your trip itinerary if you’re staying in London for a few days. It was really cold when we went, so just be considerate about packing an extra layer of clothing in case it gets windy/rainy in the evening (especially for Stonehenge). Also recommend bringing snacks and water.

Simon was great! It was a nice trip to see these historical sites. Our time was limited at each site, but allowed us to see each place, and enjoy it. The drive thru the countryside , with all of the points of interest noted , was so worth it.

Peter was an amazing guide. We had a good experience and saw much more than we intended for the day. Driving was good and the individual head sets worked great. The tour left right in time and the driver and Peter the guide were super. Best full day tour we have taken. Definitely budget 12 hours for this one. Great job Evan’s!
