The boat departs from Chelsea Piers, on Pier 62, which is located at West 22nd Street and the Hudson River. We are at the northern end of the Chelsea Piers Complex on the water. Our ticket booth is located steps from the dock on Pier 62. Check in at the Classic Harbor Line ticket booth upon arrival.

What To Expect

Set sail from Chelsea Piers for your two-hour sailboat cruise that begins by navigating along the Hudson River, passing Manhattan's striking Financial District and One World Trade Center.

As the wind fills the massive sails of this two-masted schooner, you will head to the open waters of New York Harbor past Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Enjoy a glass of complimentary Champagne, wine, beer, or soft drink while relaxing and taking in the view of the skyline.

You’ll have time to enjoy the urban cityscape and snap photos of the iconic skyline before the return sail to Chelsea Piers.

Fabulous experience with Captain Mark. Really got us moving . Loved the Pride flag for Pride month. Sailing much better than on a huge motor boat and we were able to get a much closer view if the statue. Fabulous service from his crew and we all had a great time

Worth every dollar spent!!! The staff was attentive and experienced of course the plus of a woman captain. The boat was beautiful not overcrowded and can’t beat the views of NYC & Lady Liberty up close!!!!

Could not recommend this more - if you are looking for a break from the business of NYC, these two hours are exactly what you need. We’ve been to NYC several times and my only regret is not doing this sooner. We’ve done the bigger tours/boats (not sailboats) and this is far better and more fun! The experience is great, the crew is so friendly, and we’ll definitely be back!

After having one trip cancelled and having to ask for a refunded difference of a cheaper boat, the boat has a leaking roof it soaked me- buckets of water. I was offered paper towel. No discount or refund. Not cool. Very little announcements of the sights. Would not recommend

Great Bur need to be more upfront about costing

The boat crew and staff we’re all excellent. The cruise was more than satisfactory with great views. The only negative was that we were offered a drink of champagne wine or beer when we set sail . Later they came around and asked us if we wanted another drink. We were surprised to receive a bill before we disembarked for the second drink. The crew said the first drink was on them but you pay for anything after that. No one mentioned that to us in the beginning. Again it had no effect upon our enjoyment of the cruise but left a bad taste.
