Wasted day with Viator

Horrible stay away from aviator. I booked trip for me and friend, we waited on voucher tickets for our 2:30 tour that never arrived to my email, I called tour operator numerous times with. No Reaponse I even emailed and nothing. That was 108.00 thrown away and Viator didn’t want to refund my money. We had to purchase another set of tickets from the museum directly Stay away from Viator. The day was ruined 😡
Disappointing experience

We booked through Viator as it seems to indicated that we could skip the line and no need to wait. (See high light from the photo) this was not the case as we still needed to queue up and just that the line was shorter. After waiting to our turn to enter, the guard said that our tickets (with QR code) was not the right ticket. I purposed asked the tour operator in advancement if I needed to go to the office to redeem the voucher and the response was no (see photo). It appears that she forgot to send me the ticket via email so we had to go there last minutes and lost in total almost 1 hour included the waiting time. Another surprise was when we got the ticket, the operator said it was not an audio tour but just ordinary ticket. So I was misled again (see photo) as I paid €10 more euro for each ticket (together with the cruise) for no added value. We would better off bought our ticket online ourselves.

This was a terrible experience. Viator did not send us clear information about where to pick up our tickets, so, when we arrived at the Louvre, we had to pay out of pocket. I subsequently called Viator, explained the situation, and attempted to get a refund. I was repeatedly placed on hold and forced to speak to a series of unhelpful people. When Management finally got back to me, they refused to refund me. I would not recommend Viator under ANY circumstances.

Please be warned. They did not send through the tickets they did not respond to me. Was a complete waste of money. Travelling across the world I wanted to be prepared with my family but they just ruined my time and I managed to get tickets on the spot thankfully but will never use this service again and will make sure no one i know also doesn't use this!

I think the service itself was just OK because it is the same as an individual ticket. However, I choose to enter at 14:00 and there was really long line to go through the security at the entrance. It took me more than one hour! It was the worst experience in Paris.

The process to pick up the tickets was easy. Don't arrive more than 30 min before your time slot. We didn't have to wait in long lines. Access to the museum was very fast.
Good alternative when tickets direct through museum are sold out.

We enjoyed our visit to the museum. There's SO much to see, you will need more than one day to do the museum justice. However, you can see some key at pieces with this ticket and with proper planning. The Seine cruise was enjoyable. Just know that you have to present the ticket for the cruise at the cruise terminal near the Eiffel tower, somewhat distant from the museum. And there can be long lines for the boat - we had to wait in line for an hour before we could get on it. Well worth the wait, however! And you do not have to use the cruise ticket on the same day as the museum visit. One other thing... Plan enough time to collect your museum entry and cruise tickets before your entry slot. When we went to the pick up location, it was understaffed and we ended up being late for our entry time at the Louvre. Because of the holiday rush, we could enter late, but good to plan ahead.

The Louvre entry process was fantastic, quick and easy. The museum itself is so gigantic what can you say. We saw many marvelous, beautiful and amazing things. It was very warm in the museum, uncomfortable for me. The way out was long, convoluted and unnecessarily so. The river cruise was very relaxing, quite enjoyable. I don’t understand why the let people smoke on board with no smoking signs everywhere.

Viator is soo ridiculous to deal with I cannot even express it however you are forced to use the 3rd parties in order to get tickets bc they sell out of things soo fast or you dont want to wait in line. They lied about times and other things. They wasted a lot of my time with telling me my ticket was at 12 30 but I couldn't go into the louvre until 1pm. They dont care about customer service and I highly recommend you dont use this company for any sightseeing!

This did not allow you to skip any line as far as I can tell except the line to buy tickets. You had to go out to the office to collect them, and then get in line for over an hour, which is the same line you could just buy tickets from the museum in advance

This was great but the side emterance didn’t have a bag check and as travellers we had to carry our bags the entire time. Would have been nice to know before hand. Also a heads up about seating on the Seine would have been appreciated.

We got lost, couldn't find the place to redeem our voucher, missed our tour of the Louvre. Finally figured out where the voucher redemption place was and they totally took care of us and got us on our way. Easy peasy!

The ticket is way more expensive but you save a lot of time at the entrance by entering on the Lions gate. If you have the money I think is worth it.
