I would highly recommend booking this experience! They limit the boat to only 25 people, which is the perfect amount of party but you still have space to sit and you don’t have to wait on drinks. The staff was incredible and gave us a truly unforgettable experience full of snorkeling, a private beach lunch and a trip to isla mujeres. The food and drinks were amazing and it is well worth the price!

Not worth thr extra expense. Catamaran was no better than any other.

Not worth the extra money. Drinks were average at best but more importantly you can get the same trip on any boat for less money. They say 7 hours but ours was over 9 hours with at least 3 of them on the Isla Mujeres which for us was way to long.

I’ve never left a negative review and have used Viator previously at least ten times. This trip is not as advertised. The snorkeling is about 15 minutes and there are at least 100 people in the water. You are allowed to use a towel on the boat but not at the beach. If we knew that we would have brought our own. There is no beach club access beyond a buffet lunch where you are sternly instructed you must leave after one and a half hours. Everything is an upsell. If you want a pina colada with your lunch it will cost $14 USD for a tiny plastic cup. We had to come out of pocket $100 USD for beach chairs and an umbrella. Having said that the beach and water are gorgeous. This isn’t a horrible trip- it’s just not what it’s advertised to be. There is nothing VIP about it. Take the ferry yourself and pay for a beach club. That’s what we will be doing tomorrow.

snorkeling was very good but way too short a time. Beach club was very nice and had great food. Too much time dedicated to downtown Isla Mujeres which is a tourist trap.

Best time on Solome with the crew. The views and staff were amazing. Enjoyed the lunch pool on the last stop as a bonus for isla Las mujeres. Do it. Really enjoyed privilege experience, especially after watching the other stuffed and loaded other boats come in.

The experience of having less people on the catamaran didn't come true. 25 people is way to many fkr this size of catamaran. - Drunks were not pemuium and weak - Private Island wasn't really Private. Had many other boats there. - Lunch was around 2:30. Way to late and was less than desirable. To top it off the bus driver coming back mad us all get out and walk due to a protest on the street. We had to walk 3 miles back to our hotel. To be honest we should get our money back.

Very Disappointing. Not worth the money. The boat was very nice and wish the trip was mainly on the boat. The snorkeling trip was a joke. You have to have a lifejacket tied to your waist so you can't touch any reef or coral I get that but there was really nothing to see and the guide was so rude. Just kept yelling to stay beside him. Not enjoyable at all. The next stop was a swim spot where the captain yelled at you to stay inside the rope. Next dropped off, at a tourist trap for 2 hours. Last stop, was lunch buffet and beach or pool. Ok. Whole trip not worth the money.

Bad Experience

None. Our pick-up driver was late by 15mins. He then dropped us off at the wrong Pier. When he dropped us off, he did not indicate where to proceed, just followed the mass of people. Waited in a very long line with thousands of other guests. Inside I asked a staff member that we were on a Privilege Catamaran Tour and she told us to wait in line. After about 15 mins, my name was called and were told to head back to the bus as we were at the incorrect pier. Did not leave the pier until 10:30. We thought the catamaran was very small to hold 25 people as there was very little space for those to sit in the shade. Inside cabin was not air conditioned and was very hot and was not recommended to sit inside. Only about 6-7 people could sit under shade. Very dissappointed in the service of the crew. only one person could speak English and the other crew members did not interract unless we asked them for something. This is our 2nd Catamaran Deluxe Sailing Excursion. 1st Excursion was wonderful. All crew were very conversational, even if they spoke very little english. Catamaran was so much bigger and easily accommodated for more people to sit under shade if need be. For the price not great value. It's a hit and miss on what Catamaran you get, but if you are lucky to be on a larger catamaran experience will be much different.

The tour was exceptional! The crew was fun, courteous and helpful. The boat was clean, safe and in great shape. There was plenty of room on the boat, not crowded at all with plenty of drinks and snacks. All the stops were fun and well timed. I took the tour with my spouse and four children (ages 16, 12, 9 & 8) all were able to snorkel and participate in the activities. I highly recommend this tour!
