Round-trip transportation is included from select hotels exclusively for our guests who book their tours at least 48 hours in advance. Please consider 2 to 3 hours of transportation for this tour. The actual time depends on your hotel's location.

What To Expect

Sail across the blue Caribbean waters under the power of the wind on this catamaran tour from Playa del Carmen. After hotel pickup, board your luxury boat at the marina by the Puerto Aventuras resort.

As your captain cruises along the Riviera Maya coastline, relax on the deck and admire the scenery: upscale hotels, isolated beaches, and wildlife in the sea.

Drop anchor at Inah Reef, a top snorkeling destination. Jump in the water with your snorkel gear, or try stand-up paddleboarding. With large coral formations and an abundance of marine life, this is an underwater sanctuary that should not be missed.

Worked up an appetite? Enjoy a gourmet lunch and refreshing drinks from an open bar on board. Your tour ends with return transport to your hotel.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The entire experience was amazing! The trip to the boat and back was't bad. The crew was amazing! The view and the weather was incredible. The crew treated us like royalty. AND my fiance and I got engaged on the boat so it was extra special! They brought out Champaign and shots for us to celebrate (: Now we are taking our family on the boat when we go out for our wedding!!

Bait-and-switch, no snorkeling

We didn't get a chance to snorkel due to "choppy waters" (weather was absolutely beautiful that day with low winds). We ended up docking in a cove and hanging out there for over 3 hours. The crew knew the weather conditions before they took us out for the 1pm tour, but 5-10 minutes after we got out on the water, they informed us snorkeling was not a good idea that day and strongly encouraged us to let them take us back to a little cove by the dock and stay docked there for more than 3 hours, getting drunk. Just a cheap booze cruise, without the cruise.

We were on Boat 11. It was a great snorkeling trip. The catamaran was clean and easily fit all passengers. The crew was incredible. Very attentive, good food and drinks.

This is more of chill party boat ride that organized snorkeling tour. Fun to swim and see few reefs but focus is more party. Don’t fall for the $30 photographer, though. She takes nice pics but $30 to just download them??? Bit excessive, I think

Fun trip, lots of drinks, decent snorkeling

This was a fun cruise for our family. The catamaran can accommodate about 40 guests. After a 45 minute ride, we anchored near a coral reef and went snorkeling for about 30 minutes. We were required to follow a guide - I would have preferred to snorkel on my own. The reef had some interesting fish and we saw two manta rays. After the snorkel we were served an nice lunch. Throughout the excursion we would offered tasty alcoholic drinks (drinks are included in the price). Crew was very helpful and friendly.

Ramon was a terrific host. The crew made sure you never went without a drink if you wanted one. Food was terrific. And the reef was amazing. It was a rather long swim from the boat to the reef but worth it.

The staff, boat and reef where we snorkeled were all fantastic. I didn’t like any of the food do I can’t comment on the quality of that. What needs to improve is the amount of snorkeling time. Only 30 minutes was spent at the reef then we had to stay by the boat. I expected to be able to snorkle at the reef much longer than 30 minutes out of 4+ hours.

we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the snorkeling! Lots of pretty fish, stingrays, and even a turtle. Limited places to sit other than top of catamaran -/ but we did snag a seat after swim for lunch. Quality lunch as well. bring your own towels and water.

This tour had Amazing views! Took the morning tour on 12/21. It was chilly going out but as the sun peaked through the clouds it warmed up quickly. Lunch was prepared and fresh. Drinks were excellent and the crew kept them coming. Snorkeling or paddle surfing was available. Gear and life jackets were provided. The crew was very nice and welcomed each guest. This is a relaxing tour. Music is played but it not a party crowd unless you make it one. Round trip transportation was included. We even changed our tour time at the last minute and they were very accommodating.

The catamaran was nice and the crew was super sweet. I booked this to go on the catamaran and go snorkeling. It was very windy that day and they picked us up and drove us pretty far out and then told us we were not snorkeling due to wind. It had been windy all week. It would have been nice if they gave us the notice the day before and allowed us to decide if we still wanted to participate. They basically took us to Isla Majores - and left us for 3 hours. Apparently they do this anyways and you only snorkel for a short bit which the crew told me. You can take a ferry for a quarter of the price and hang out on the island which we happened to do the day before not knowing we would be going again. They pushed alcohol to make the trip pleasant, which was included. Again the staff was wonderful - I just feel if you advertise snorkeling then stick to snorkeling and make that the activity or refund the money - or advertise what you add selling.

The most professional catamaran experience. The boat was in perfect condition, we sailed for a bit, we snorkeled to see rays, fish and some live coral, we are a bento box of tasty morsels and my husband got a gluten free accommodation, drinks were tasty and beautifully made, floating mats and paddle boards were available for free swim, the music was choice. Transportation was on time and comfortable. It's the trip you want.

The crew was great, and the snorkeling was absolutely amazing. We got to see turtles, a sting ray, and lots of fish. The paddle boards are fun, but very difficult. Our boat, the sexy boat, did at least 4 rounds of tequilla shots and everyone talked to each other and we just had a great time.

It was a wonderful day to sail and enjoy the Riviera Maya in this Catamaran. Amazing weather, spectacular water, incredible reefs, corals, Sea Rays, fishes, and everything was just perfect. The crew, captain Martin, hosts, bartenders, and all of them work attentively to make you feel relaxed and happy to be there. Lunch was excellent, drinks were cold and with many options and varieties I recommend 1000% this tour.
