You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Best snorkelling experience ever

We snorkelled with Ivan at 8.30am; my husband and I were the only people booked onto the tour so it was an exclusive trip! Ivan and the team were very friendly, accommodating and informative. We saw 3 eagle rays within 10 minutes of entering the water. Ivan was great at communicating sightings to us. We also saw barracuda, lobster, eels, trigger fish and many more beautiful species. The reef was quiet- we didn’t see any other tourists or boats so had the reef to ourselves. This is the best snorkelling experience I’ve done. Thanks again to Ivan, that captain- Marcos- and the team.

Crew was great-assisting, explaining with a priority on safety. Water conditions were calm and clear. We saw 2 reefs 45 min. per. Perfect way to spend a morning! Returned back home to Colorado with snow.

This was a really fun snoring experience. The staff were all excellent! We especially liked our guide Christopher who was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful with my husband who has a disability.

Our guide Chris was wonderful! He made us feel very safe, he was fun and informative, and pointed out cool things on the dive. We saw a barracuda, a ray, a turtle, and so many fish and coral. So fun! And I recommend the first voyage of the day; not a lot of people or boats, and the sun wasn’t too hot yet.

Great guide and trip out. Just six of us which made the trip more personal. Myself and partner struggled a bit with the snorkelling at first but Christopher helped us to keep calm and we really got the hang of it with his guidance. Saw loads of fish too.

This was an awesome experience! I’m so happy I got to experience this on my trip to Puerto Morelos. Ivan and Pollo were great, super friendly and truly they made the experience. It was great to see the friendship between them and know that they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. We had a great time snorkeling and saw so many fish, stingrays and coral! One thousand percent would do this over and over and over if I could!!

Short cab ride from Playa Del Carmen. Greeted by friendly staff. Professional equipment to use including shorty wetsuits. We used our own equipment and didn't need the suits. There is a place inside to store your things. No locker but I felt it was safe. Short boat ride out to the reef. The snorkeling was not just a drift but an active swim the entire time. We loved every second but I could see that some might not be able to keep up. There were only 2 other people on the trip. After snorkel, there is a shower and bathroom across the street to use. Take a short walk to the leaning lighthouse and the Puerto Morelos sign for pictures.

Dan (guide) and Marco (captain) we’re both awesome! Our family of 5 (kids ages 13, 11 and 8) went out on the 12:30 snorkeling trip and it was perfect. The water was super calm and clear which made for easy snorkeling and great visibility. We’ve been snorkeling numerous times but all thought this was the best trip we’ve been on. We were also super thankful they provided wetsuits for sun protection (since you can’t wear sunscreen). Thanks again for a great experience!

The Best Snorkel Ever

My husband and I have been snorkeling in Cancun for 20 years and it has always been fabulous. So many beautiful fish, coral and sea creatures to be seen, it boggles the mind! This trip we were staying in Puerto Morelos and chose a snorkeling excursion with a local outfit, Wet Set Adventures. Let me tell you this was the absolute BEST snorkel we have ever had! Dave, the owner, is the nicest and friendliest person. He is very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Marcos was the Captain of the Zebra II boat (Not 1-II! Inside joke!) and Uri was our guide. They both are the best in the business! While we were waiting for Marcos to arrive, Uri took us out to a fresh water cenote just off shore. Because the water was cloudy that day we could only see the shape of the cenote, but that was way cool. Marcos arrived and off we went. He took us to 2 different spots to snorkel on the Mesoamerican Reef, which is the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world behind the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. The 2 spots Uri took us to were in only 6-8 feet of water which put you really up close and personal with the incredible coral and sea life. Much better viewing than in deeper water. We saw several Barracuda, one being quite large! Lots of beautiful fish and we even saw a few Conchs! We were in the water for quite some time and saw so many wonderful things. The price was very reasonable but the experience? Priceless! Thank you Dave and Wet Set Adventures for making this the very best snorkel we have ever had! We will see you again next year!

We love Wet Set Diving and Snorkeling. They're the one who coordinate this tour. They don't offer hotel pick up but that's ok. It's easy to hop on a taxi or hire a private shuttle from your hotel. They're very friendly, accommodating, and really good with small kids. I highly suggest that you should be a good swimmer to enjoy it more. My daughter who is 9 yrs old and being a strong swimmer she is -- managed to enjoy the snorkeling tour. If you're not a swimmer then that's ok too, you can hold into life buoy ring. We highly recommend Wet Set group.

Had a wonderful day on the water seeing several barracudas, schools of fishes, and a spotted eel. Snorkeling at Puerto Morelos Reef National Park was a great experience. Wet Set is also a PADI certified dive school.

Wonderful snorkeling for kids

I am so thankful to the staff of Wetset and especially Captain and guide Marcos and Pollo for a wonderful snorkeling experience in the reef in Puerto Morelos. They provide wet suits to avoid sunburn since it’s not allowed to use sunblock that could damage the reef. Also, they helped our 3 and 5 year old snorkel safely and helped them enjoy the experience and see all kinds of beautiful marine life that it would have been harder for them to see on their own.
