Perfect Tour, Wouldn’t Change a Thing
Jordan_L, Apr 2024
Punctual guide/driver with a nice car with good AC. Was very knowledgeable about everything and took us in a sequence that would be the least traffic on the road and at the sites. Sites were great to see. Lunch buffet was excellent and cenote swim was very fun.
3 Amazing Archeological Sites!
Blenda_J, Apr 2024
Our guide, Carmen, was amazing! Yes, the trip is expensive, but it is well worth it if you want to see all 3 archaeological sites in one day. Carmen and Cesar picked us up at our hotel. Our first stop was Tulum. Then we went to Cobas and from there we went to Chichen-Itza. Carmen was very knowledgeable about all the archaeology and Mayan history. Well worth the price!
Excellent.
Vickie_B, Apr 2024
Eduardo was brilliant, so knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Julio ensured we got where we needed to be on time, avoiding all of the queues. Altogether an enjoyable and memorable day! Thank you!

Manny was great. He was...
Susan_D, Apr 2023
Manny was great. He was our driver as well as our personal guide throughout the day. He had great information and a book/phone full of photos. He also sprinkled in a few bits of humor along the way, i.e. the “Mexican Chicken”. The van was clean and comfortable. You can tell that they must clean the van each time because you track in a lot of dust on your shoes. He picked us (4 of us, mom, dad, 13 year old daughter and 16 year old son) up at our hotel, and drove us to Tulum, about two hours (our hotel is north of Cancun, so it may not be as long for others). A tram ride from our van to the entrance was a nice surprise. It saved a lot of unneeded walking, probably 0.5 to 1 mile each way. (We ended up walking just under 5 miles on this tour.) We toured Tulum and saw the major points of interest with a little bit of time to walk around and get family photos. You really enjoy the tram on the way back! Manny had cold water, pops and beer for us in a cooler in the van. We just grabbed them as needed throughout the day. Then we drove to Coba. The rickshaws were great. I think this was my daughters favorite part. Again, saving time so that you can see major buildings. The rickshaws take you to each place of interest and give you a brief description and then some time to walk around and take pictures. Then we drove about an hour to the cenota and lunch. The lunch is a traditional Mexican lunch. If you have picky eaters, they may have a hard time finding something. (We expected there to be a quesadilla or taco) They have chicken soup, salad, fruit, pastas, steamed veggies, pork/chicken and desserts. They also bring you chips, salsa and corn tortillas to your table. We did purchase five drinks for lunch and it was around $18 USD. Then we walked over to the cenota. They give you a key and you get changed, take a quick shower and put on a life vest. Honestly, I wasn’t thrilled about the idea of a life vest because I know how to swim, but I actually enjoyed it because it gave me the opportunity to just float and look up. The view is incredible! Make sure to bring a water proof container for your phone!!! The best part is after two outside activities in the sun and heat, the cool water is so refreshing. I think it really helped energize us for Chichen Itza. Also, while we were swimming, Manny got gas, which again I appreciated so that it didn’t take up our time at a location. Then we had another 30 minute drive to Chichen Itza. We walked in and Manny gave us a great description of what makes El Castle so incredible. We also walked through the ball game area and then he showed us about the ball used in the game and obsidian. After, we walked further around El Castle and got some free time to look at a few more buildings. My daughter picked up a Mayan zodiac bracelet and my son got an obsidian bracelet. After, we got back into the van and rode 2.5 hours back to our hotel. It was a long day, but I am so glad that we did this tour. We got to see three different Mayan cities with different architecture/gods. Plus, each location has such a different feeling (Tulum = port city, Coba = jungle is still surrounding it and Chichen Itza = nicely renovated, plus a “New” World Wonder). The only thing I was bummed was that you couldn’t walk up to the top of buildings anymore (we were able to do this 20 years ago on our honeymoon) but this has nothing to do with the tour. The tour was great and you won’t be disappointed. Tips-Bring a plastic bag for your wet bathing suit/towel. For the girls, a brush was also nice to have if you plan to get your hair wet. Also, we reapplied sunscreen each time we went back to the van (the sun is very strong). Also, tip your rickshaw drivers. They worked pretty hard biking us around the site. Hold onto your hat at Chirchen Itza. The wind can be pretty strong, which felt nice since it was sunny and hot. Finally, if you do have a picky eater, in between the lunch and cenota, there is a little shop that sells hotdogs, chips, etc.

Great full day tour of all the Mayan Ruins
Tamara_M, Jun 2022
Great full day tour! Loved the private tour and upgraded SUV for just our family. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Pick up and travel were easy. It is a great way to see all the Mayan ruins in one day. It’s a 12 hour day with about half driving and half at the sites, lunch, and cenote. Guide will customize what you want to spend the time doing. We loved the pedicabs at Coba and all the time to shop if we desired. Lunch was also a good variety and at the same location as the cenote. Bathrooms very accessible at every site/stop. Guide also provided water, drinks, and snacks on the road too.

Time traveling with Manuel.
Mark_W, Apr 2022
Manuel was a knowledgable and thoughtful guide all day. His enthusiasm for sharing the history of his country never waned through a long day of touring. I would very highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the highlights of Myan culture in this area. The included Lunch and cenote swim was very good too.

Worth it!
Patricia_W, Mar 2022
Manuel was very knowledgeable. We didn’t have time to get a lot of detail at each site, but seeing all three gave us a nice overview of Mayan culture. The lunch was ok (buffet) and swimming in the cenote was neat.

A magnificent day
A_T, Mar 2022
A brilliant full day (12hrs)with Manuel who, as well as being our driver, was also our guide. He has tremendous knowledge of the 3 sites we visited and brought everything to life for us.he even had relevant pictures on his phone to show us. Now: it was just the tour for us, as we wanted to see all the wonders, but it is a lengthy day, which can only be shortened by missing one of the sites. However, we can really recommend it, and it also included an excellent lunch as well as a visit to a denote. For us there are no negatives.

An Amazing Historical Adventure (Private Tour)
KC_C, Jul 2021
Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza were wonderful visits. We highly recommend. Omar (Alvaro) provided a very nice and informative tour. Monday was our selected day. We arrived at Tulum just before opening, so it was not too crowded. It was sunny and very hot of course. Sunscreen was an absolute must. Next to Coba where the trees provided much appreciated shade. The ruins were such a sight. Then to a buffet lunch and cenoté swim. I jumped in and we stayed for about 10 minutes…so refreshing! Our final stop was the Temple of Kukulcan. It rained just a little toward the end, but that really did not limit us. The day was full of breath-taking sights and learnings. We recommend the private tour for the best personal experience without any group tour impacts.

Extra cost for private tour worth it!
Colorado, Jul 2021
First we went to Tulum and saw lizards and iguanas all over (loved that) as well as learned great facts about the Mayans from Manny. Next we went to Coba and rode bikes around the grounds and learned more information. Then we had a lunch buffet and a cenote swim. It was very refreshing after a hot day. Last we went to Chichen Itza to close the place! Manny had everything well timed and was prompt picking us up from our hotel. We really loved not having to pick up others or be on a giant bus. There was much to see and it was a long day, but we had a great time regardless of the heat! We appreciated Manny giving us his time for this long day of adventure!

Worth every penny!
Jade_S, Jul 2021
Gabriel was our tour guide and driver. He was very knowledgeable and lots of fun! If you want to see all three ruins in one day, this is the tour for you! The ruins were great. The lunch buffet was amazing. At the same place you can swim in a cenote that is just gorgeous. One thing I really liked about our tour guide was that he didn’t push us into any shops or stalls. If we wanted to look he would stop. No pressure. Would definitely recommend.

Great tour, 3 ruins was too much
Rick_K, Jul 2021
Private tour was nice. Doing 3 Mayan ruins and a cenote in one day was too much. I would recommend 1 or 2 in one day. Our guide LUIS LECHUGA was amazing. Really knew the Mayan history, even took the time to explain the Mayan math system! 😄👍. I definitely recommend Luiz!

adrienne_w, Jul 2021
Seeing Tulum, Coba, and Chichen Itza all in one day is a “marathon” but it is possible and absolutely worth it. Just enough time to see and appreciate the ruins. Gabriel Salazar was our guide and he was AWESOME! The lunch buffet was the best meal of my trip.
