Totally worth it. Highly recommend it.

Amazing historical sites. Lovely tour guide and driver. The pyramids are jaw dropping. The Guadalupe Village is fascinating. Lunch was buffet style and delicious. So worth it.

Ursula was knowledgeable, handled the different language speakers well, and nicely had a small loudspeaker so we could all hear. Everything went very smoothly, she was flexible and I learned a learned quite a bit. Would highly recommend!

Pyramids day tour.

Although the overall experience was good, comfortable coach, courteous driver and a well planned day, the guide thoroughly bored us to death.
An amazing day trip!

If you're an archaeology buff, you'll enjoy this trip! I love that it was a small group tour and that there was time to explore on your own... but unfortunately with our group the other members of the group did not pay attention to the tour guide in terms of meet up times. We ended up going very late to lunch because only two of us showed up at the meetup spot at Teotihuacan on time; two more people showed up 20 minutes later, and the rest of the group was nowhere to be seen even 45 minutes after the guide's original meetup time passed. We ended up having to rush through the Basilica part of the tour because we arrived there so late! But all in all, it was worth it. Amazing scenery, great guide, and a great experience that should not be missed for visitors to Mexico City.

Worthwhile day trip

Great side trip away from Mexico City if you appreciate history. My guide Victor was awesome. Although designed for small groups up to 15 to 20 people, I just happened to be the only one who signed up for the tour. They honored the same price and I had my own private tour! I wanted to do something interesting before my business trip and this was the perfect outing.

Greatest hike ever

Started the off by getting picked up from the hotel, then the tour proceeded to the basilica do our lady of Guadalupe. Just being there, brings me goose bumps to my skin. The tour guide explained the legend of una Diego. After visiting the Virgen, we continued our adventure to the pyramids. Again, the guide was very knowledgeable in giving us facts about the tribes from that time.

The Tour was okay but was shorted on Lunch Refund
Vaden_L, Jun 2019
The locations were amazing and Victor was a decent tour guide. But we had signed up and paid for lunch to be included an at 1:45 on the way back to our hotel we were like uh lunch? There had been a mistake at the office so they gave us a 300 pesos refund but it was $42 extra to add lunch and the exchange rate that day was 19.40/1 dollar so our refund should have been 814.80 pesos. I am not sure if that was on purpose but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely confirm at the beginning of your tour what you expect!

Good afternoon, thank you very much for your comments, I am very sorry that you had a bad lunch experience, I will verify with our operator this incident to avoided it in the future and offer a better service. I appreciate your comments very much, and again I am very sorry for the bad experience. Thank you so much Have a good day

The overall experience was pretty average. We went to the basilica first in the morning and it was interesting and then took an hour ride to the piramids. What I liked: The pick up/drop of at our hotel was great. What I didn't like: After the basilica and before we were able to see the piramids, we had to stop at a roadside souviner shop, they had us do a mezcal tasting and taught us about agave and obsidians native to the area before giving us time to buy their souviners. I really wish they didn't do this, I just wanted to get to the piramids and the whole process took like 45 minutes. What was worse though is that 5 out of 7 of us on the trip selected the "No Lunch Included" option, but instead of just going back to the city like we were hoping to do, we had to go to this kitchy restaurant were we could order "a la carte" while the other two people in our group had a buffet lunch. The tour guide said that if he didn't give us an option to have lunch that we would be mad. We specifically selected No Lunch because we wanted to go back to the city early and eat lunch where we wanted. So instead of a 6 hour tour like was stated on the website, the whole tour was about 8 hours.

Ursula was our outstanding guide, advisor, and friend on this adventure to the pyramids and to the Lady of Guadalupe shrine. What was totally unexpected was the short trip to Parque de las Tres Culturas...it was awesome and eye-opening. The trip to the craft shop was also great...with a touch of history and availability of items for purchase. This craft shop was another highlight. One detraction was the lunch at El Jaguar...food was not warm and it was not typical of the food of Mexico, with the exception of the separate table where quesadillas made to order were very good. The knowledge, experience and customer service of Ursula and the driver was truly outstanding.

Great tour! Definitely would recommend it if you are in the Mexico City area. The tour picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotel in Mexico City which was very convenient. Seeing the pyramids and having the opportunity to climb to the top of the sun pyramid was definitely the highlight of the tour. I would suggest wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes to climb the pyramid. We didn’t initially buy the lunch with the package but ended up getting it when we got to the restaurant. The food was buffet style and had a good variety. Our tour guide Victor was great and really went above and beyond in every aspect. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and was very helpful in providing history of the area and recommendations of other places to visit while in Mexico.

Everything about this tour was great! We were picked up at our hotel lobby. The van was roomy and comfortable. We were only four on the tour my daughter and I plus a couple from Dallas. All four of us being Hispanic we did not mind the tour being in Spanish. Our tour guide Miriam was very informative. She began telling us the history of Mexico City and of many buildings and structures right as soon as we were all picked up and on the route to the Basilica of Guadalupe. We made a quick stop at the Plaza of the Three Cultures before heading out to the Basilica. At the Basilica we got to see the 'tilma' of Juan Diego and got to explore the Tepeyac hill and the former Basilicas. Before heading to the pyramids of Teotihuacan we learned about the maguey plant and its use by the natives and had a taste of mezcal and tequila. We then got to learn about the pyramids and their use by the Aztecs even though they were there before the Aztecs came into the region. Miriam had a lot of information and explained the developments archaeologists are making. We got a chance to climb the pyramid of the moon, walk the avenue of the dead, and then climb on the pyramid of the sun. If you get the lunch optional it is well worth it, in my opinion. The ride back into Mexico was smooth although we were all exhausted. Be sure to take comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and watch out as there are many vendors and some, not all, are very pestering.

Our guide Rafa was great but there was a lot of unnecessary stops along the way that involved purchasing things. The lunch included in the tour was not that great.

The Basilica and the pyramids in...
Olivia D, Feb 2017
The Basilica and the pyramids in Teotihuacan are unique and beautiful. The tour was well worth it for our family. The logistics of the trip need to be improved. Because we were staying at a hotel not on the route of the van, we were asked to be at the lobby of another hotel at 9 a.m. sharp. However, the van did not arrive until 10a.m., cutting our tour short. There was a group from Peru and so the driver spoke in Spanish to them. Another guide, who spoke English was in the van and he was assigned to our family. There was a lack of coordination between the two guides at the Basilica: the two groups were separated and it took about 45 min. for the driver to contact our guide and tell him where we needed to find our van to continue our tour. I would recommend some planning and guidelines on the part of the agency to correct the problems. Olivia, Frank, Jack, and Reed
Guida incapace!
Antonio_G, Aug 2023
Response from Host, Aug 2023
Hello Antonio, Thank you for letting us know about this, your review will be sent to the operator to avoid these delays on future trips. We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you We hope to see you again soon
Visita pirámides y basílica de nuestra señora de Guadalupe
RubnDavid_T, Jul 2022
Gracias
Response from Host, Jul 2022
