Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Driver can’t speak any English at all

Got the job done

Got us safely and timely from airport to hotel. Subtracted a star because he was not at arrivals with our name on a board. Took ten minutes to find him, which admittedly doesn’t sound like much, but when you are tired, hot, and nervous about a new city there is nothing better than seeing your name immediately upon arrival and getting to relax. Coordinator and driver were both very nice. Car was old, but clean.

Transport from GIG to hotel

English speaking host was waiting at airport exit with my name on sign. The host escorted me to a car where driver was waiting, he didn’t speak English, but he was very pleasant and got me to the hotel safely.

Terrible experience

It was terrible! The ride did not show up at the hotel, We waited 15 minutes then had to make alternate arrangements to get to the airport which took another 10 minutes and our ride still had not shown up by the time we left,

Didn’t contact me until after my flight had landed despite me messaging the night before with my WhatsApp number. By that time I had left the airport. We agreed they would pick me up to take me back when I left and again, no contact. Boarding the flight as I write this and still haven’t heard from them.

They ordered a Uber from airport to hotel

When we arrived to GoG we were very tired etc from early am flight. They made us wait over 25 minutes for the ride to the hotel and they basically ordered us an Uber unbelievable the guy started the drive on his Uber app. This cost 5 x as much as the Uber which is very reliable in Rio would not recommend this company at all.

They were late

The driver was late. We arrived from baggage claim and our driver wasn’t there with a sign. We waited 5 minutes before I walked around to find internet service to contact the company. When I returned she was there with my husband. The driver should have been there with a sign so when we arrived I did not have to worry in a foreign country where I do not speak the language. This is why I hired a private driver and I didn’t get it. Let’s hope my return they are not late.

I was very pleased with my experience. My transfer waited for me to get through customs, they were on time and somehow recognized me when I walked through the exit of the terminal. My driver spoke no English, so the ride was quiet, but he was very friendly and cordial.

Good but Taxi too small

Driver was very good and had a tricky drop off as the Copacabana beach party had closed off the road. However the taxi was too small to accommodate 4 adults and 4 suitcases even though I had warned the transit company before we travelled. It was very cramped because they had to squeeze the luggage in.

The driver was pleasant. The pick up was not very smooth. A guide greeted us at the airport, told us to wait, then passed us to another person outside. Waited for over 30 minutes for the private vehicle that we booked. There were 4 of us with luggage and we travel light. One person had to sit on the 3rd row with 4 huge backpacks. The vehicle was not big enough to accommodate 4 people and our luggage.
