My guide (David) was amazing! It was just the two of us & he made sure I was comfortable the entire time! The hike wasn't as hard as I had envisioned, the ending definitely made the burn worth it! Don't let "the hike" deter you, this is a must see/do in Rio. I did the sunset tour which was perfect timing, we basically had the rock all to ourselves! I would definitely do this again given the chance!

This was the most memorable part of my trip to Rio. I took the sunrise option and couldn’t recommend more. My guide booked me a driver for around 3am pick up from Cobacabana beach, and sent me photographs of my driver and the car. The walk itself took around 30-40mins, and we arrived with plenty of time to see the sun rise. It’s an incredible view! There was 2 other small groups there, in total around 10 of us, so we had plenty of time to take all the photographs we wanted. Highly recommend.

Caio was amazing and his dog came along for hike. I ended up being the only person in this tour which was great!! The hike is NO joke. But, it was all worth it in the end to watch the sunrise and capture amazing pictures and videos.

Caio was very informative and a fun tour/hike and guide. Best picture suggestions. Good laughs. Great vibes. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to do pedra do telegrafo. Even the little snack suggestion to hold us over for the car ride back to our hotel.

This hike was the highlight of my stay in Rio, the view is breathtaking! I highly recommend the early morning hike to see the sunrise, Caió the tour guide is very knowledgeable and takes the greatest pictures. The drive from Copacabana was a bit long but the driver was very nice and engaging. I’m glad I picked this tour

This hike is NOT easy but it is doable. Our driver and our guide were great! You should definitely book with this guide. He will take great photos and make sure you learn a lot about the history of where you’re hiking.

We were the first people up there and we got great photos! Had an awesome time. We also went to the top of the hill, instead of being dropped off at the bottom like taxis, which shaved off hiking up steep neighborhood streets. It’s definitely a hike, not a walk, but it’s not too hard! And watching the sunrise, plus the pictures to capture the memories, makes it worth it!

We did the hike with Caio and it was a fantastic experience. I felt that this hike added such a nice touch to our trip to Rio since Caio not only guided us on the hike but also provided us with so much information about the different neighborhoods of Rio and trip advice for the upcoming days. We did the sunrise hike and it sure was hard to wake up for the tour. The hike was also a little hard for me (20 something year old who works office job and doesn't exercise regularly) as there were some steeper hills. However, the experience of seeing the sun rise over those pretty hills/mountains is something that I am happy I got to experience once in my life. Caio also really knows how to take a picture!! Like others said, bring a charged phone and a bottle of bug spray. We had forgotten our bug spray and, fortunately, Caio was kind enough to make a quick stop on our way to the hike to a pharmacy for bug spray and some water. After the hike, he took us to breakfast at the town at the base of the park and we got to try some typical Brazilian breakfast items.

Super challenging, but worth it! Carlos was wonderful! So friendly, and helpful. Knew when to be a cheerleader and when to be the drill Sargent or the helping hand. The gorgeous views and great pictures were worth it. Carlos had so many wonderful suggestions that day and for thr rest of our trip. I definitely recommend booking this adventure with him!!!

Good way to start the day

As a 60+, somewhat healthy person, I would rate the hike from moderate to strenuous as it’s all uphill over rocks, roots, and can be slippery. I would definitely do it again. I took the 7:30am hike and luckily we were the first people climbing. By the time we got to the top, people were beginning to line up for photos. In the morning, the sun is behind you, so you don’t see you face in the photos. In the evening, the sun is in front of you, so you will see you face in the photos. Daniel was very patient and helpful the whole time. Happy Hiking!

We had an amazing tour with Daniel. He was very patient and was always happy to take pictures of us! After the tour he took us to one of his friends and we had a fotoshoot with sunset for only 50R$. Caio is a really friendly and fun tourguide. The hike was amazing and the views was well worth the walk! You can do this tour alone, however having Caio as your guide ensured that you didn’t get lost going up or coming down! He likes to make sure you have a photo or 500 making sure that you are happy with the instagramable money shot on the rock!! Would highly recommend.
