What To Expect

Make your own way to Xcaret, located in Riviera Maya and easily accessible by car. Your entrance ticket is valid between the hours of 8:30am and 10:30pm, allowing you to arrive at the park at a time to suit your schedule.

Once inside, you’ll have access to more than 40 attractions typical of Mexican history and culture: enrich your cultural knowledge at Mexican Folk Art Museum and Mayan Village; watch captivating performances featuring equestrian acts or Mayan folklore; and discover natural wonders on the Tropical Jungle Trail and Jaguar Island.

See, too, butterflies and marine turtles and opt to sample local wine in the Vino de Mexico Wine Cellar. If you’ve upgraded to Xcaret Plus admission, you’ll enjoy free use of lockers and snorkel equipment, perfect for discovering the Coral Reef Aquarium and Aquatic Paradise.

XcareXcaret night admission ticket includes - Starting entry at 16:00 hr and you can enjoy the underground rivers (open until 17:30 hr), coral reef aquarium (open untl 18:45 hr), butterfly pavilion and aviary (until 18:30 hr), horse show, Papantla flying-down men, prehispanic dances, jungle trail.
As a preventive measure, before boarding the bus or accessing a park, the temperature will be scanned through a digital remote device on every visitor, guest, México Destination Club member, and coworker. In the event of having symptoms such as cough, sore throat, runny nose, and/or red eyes and a temperature exceeding 100.4 F (38 C), our staff reserves the right to refuse to board our transportation or to enter our facilities.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Confusing and frustrating

For us as family was the 4th time and always had a wonderful day This time we came with some friends and we didn’t know about the changes in the programs, also the private event that was running that day stopped us to visit all the places The show was a small slice from what experienced previous times It was a bit frustrating since we brought some friends with us and from everything that we commented they will see it was a small part

the cenotes are so worth it! Wildlife there is so beautiful! Will be returning in the future! make sure to book pick up and drop off ahead of time & if traveling for mulitple days, definitely recommend renting a car instead

The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. The park was easy to navigate, we felt safe, and the live entertainment was superb. The only drawback was transportation. The hotel getting a taxi versus you getting a taxi in front of the park are a different experience. We were charged two different prices.

Definitely a must when coming to Mexico! This park truly exceeded my expectations. There’s so much to do here including swimming with the dolphins under water excursions and so much more. Bring a bathing suit and of course some comfortable shoes I suggest water shoes. Overall, I gave this place a 10 out of 10. If visiting I would definitely recommend transportation.

The park has many different attractions: underground rivers to swim into, boat ride in a river, orchids, animals, mayan ruins, birds, butterflies, Mexican buildings reproductions, amazing evening show, beach... we did not find a cenote, which we thought was there. Everything is amazing, well organised. If you want to do it all you might need 2 days, unless you're quick. Even the toilets are architecturally interesting! Great for kids and adults. You can add on experiences paying extra (swimming with dolphins, sharks, etc).

Plan to stay the entire day and enjoy everything you can fit in!! This was our second visit to the park. Last time we did all the river swims but missed a huge part of the park so we went in this time with a plan to get to the other attractions. Well, we need to plan another trip!! There’s NO way you can even do all the included activities in one day or even two. When you arrive you have to go wait in line at the ticket booth and that was the only wait we had all day. There’s a form you have to sign and the employees in the line just skipped us right over for that so we had to do it while out bracelets were being issued. Go, enjoy!!

Nice show but confusion/unclear instructions

The show was incredible! Highly recommended, but we weren't told we could get to the park earlier to get the full experience! Indeed, on our online tickets, it was stated that the park was open from 4pm to 11pm. When we arrived, one of the customer service staff told us that we had arrived late and had to pay extra to eat at the buffet, and that we couldn't enjoy the park's other attractions...... We are very disappointed with the confusion and unclear instructions.

The evening show was simply unforgettable. Very well done. Be prepared for a long day, but the basic package worked well for us since we had a large group with small kids, adolescents, and a wheelchair. Wonderful aviary.

Lot of park is under reconstruction as por December 2023. It is so much overpaid comparing to Disneyland or Universal Studio theme parks in US. 1 of 3 rivers out of order, view tower closed, animals like Pumas and Jaguars not there until end of recostruction. Eve with all attractions available, still too expensive.

The River was amazing! It’s a long route to swim but you are given life jackets. There were a lot of people in the way and they don’t have signs for traffic to keep it less congested. I was not a fan of the food for lunch but everything else nice! We didn’t get to see everything in one day. I also don’t like how you’re already paying to get in the park and there are different excursions that you have to pay for. The night show is really nice as well but we were so exhausted we were falling asleep during the second half of the show. Outside of that, I recommend this place.

Everything was wonderful! The park is well maintained, staff is professional and knowledgeable. The bird sanctuary was a personal favorite. The underground river was so much fun. I’m not a swimmer. With a life vest and lifeguard in the water I felt safe. He even helped me a little and gave me some tips to stay a float. The show at the end of the night is a full blown theater production. It summarizes Mexico’s rich history from pre colonial times to present in such a beautiful artistic way. I didn’t want the day to be over. Highly recommend to all!
